Chapter 010: Antidote

(Maya’s POV) “Looks like our date is cancelled,” I said softly. “Why do you say that?” he asked, tilting his head at me. “You really asking that, huh? I mean, look at what we’ve been through.” “That’s not the case. Come take this s**t out of my ass, it’s uncomfortable,” I replied with a tired sigh. “Yes, my lady,” he said with a smirk tugging at the corners of his lips. We went upstairs. He carefully pulled the drugs out of me and placed them neatly back into the bottles. I collapsed onto the bed, exhausted, staring at the ceiling as the weight of the day pressed down on me. He glanced at me for a moment, then suddenly asked, “Don’t you think we should try rainbow kissing?” My brows furrowed. “What the heck is rainbow kissing?” “How do you want the explanation theoretical or practical?” “Theoretical. I couldn’t trust you with anything; it always turns out bad.” He clutched his chest dramatically, pretending to be wounded. “That hit hard.” “So rainbow kissing goes like this,” he explained, his tone mischievous. “We have oral s*x while you’re on your period. You swallow my c*m, I taste your blood , we kiss and exchange. Sounds good, right?” He winked. “Hell nah! That’s disgusting.” He laughed, throwing his head back. “Relax, kitten. I was just pulling your legs . Just wanted to see your reaction.” I forced a fake laugh. “Haha. Very funny.” Taking a deep breath, I said quietly, “Maddox, I have to break it to you—I’ll be leaving back to Ryder’s the day after tomorrow. If things don’t go well, I’ll move to Mexico, get an apartment. I’ll keep you updated.” “Yes, sure, kitten. It was nice knowing you though,” he said with that sly, knowing smirk. I narrowed my eyes at him. “Why are you giving me that look? You plotting something?” “Hell nah. But it’s not too late. We could still go on a date.” “I don’t feel like it anymore. Today was too much. Let’s go tomorrow instead.” “You’re just a couch potato,” he teased. “How dare you,” I said, laughing despite myself. ****** (Isla’s POV) Oh no, oh nooo… this cannot be happening. I’m too close to victory—this can’t ruin it all now. She’s the only one who can reveal everything to Ryder. And Ryder would definitely believe her, because that’s his granny. I have to eliminate her fast. Isla, think. Think! Do something, before the doctors call Ryder… A cold smirk spread across my lips. Oh, I have the perfect idea. I quickly texted my ally in vice, but unfortunately, she wasn’t online. Time was slipping away, and I couldn’t waste a second. I packed my essentials in a rush and locked the apartment door. Just as I stepped out, I froze. Holy s**t. No, no! I rushed back inside. My fans aren’t gonna see me looking chopped. How could I forget my gloss and my expensive Yara perfume? I’m definitely supposed to be an elegant evil b***h. I stood before the mirror, adjusting myself. A satisfied smirk curved my lips. Oh, perfect. That ass is giving everything it’s supposed to give. Time to leave. I waited for my ride for seven agonizing minutes. Finally, it arrived. I slid into the backseat, scrolling through i********: absentmindedly, until I noticed the driver glancing at me in the rearview mirror. “Yo, why you staring?” I snapped. “I recognize you from an OnlyFans group. Your fan name is Jasmine, right?” he said casually. My heart froze. “How dare you? You’re classifying me as a slut?” “No… no, ma’am, not at all. But I’m very sure it’s you. I’m your biggest fan. I watch you when you livestream. I’m also your top gif—” “Can you shut the hell up?” I cut him off sharply. “What the damn hell? I am no Jasmine or s**t, please,” I said, rolling my eyes. “I’ll report your Uber account, man. Don’t stress me, old hag.” Imagine this crusty thing, wanting to f**k me? Telling me he sees me on OnlyFans… “What proof do you even have?” I hissed. He pulled out his phone and shoved it toward me. On the screen was a recorded video of me—legs spread wide, a dildo buried inside me. My stomach dropped. “How dare you? You’re not even allowed to screen-record the live videos!” “I subscribed for Premium,” he said smugly. “And I know you’re a very popular hockey cheerleader in this city of New York. It will ruin your reputation for me to post this on the internet.” My heart thundered. “Oh… oh no, no… I’d—I’d pay you.” “I don’t need your money. I just want one night with you,” he said. “Ewww… sorry, I mean, sure, sure. When I’m back from the hospital, I’ll call you to meet me at Ritz Carlton, NY Central,” I lied smoothly. “Okay, sure, miss,” he replied, satisfied. I rolled my eyes the moment he looked away. Oh s**t. I really need to work on my attitude. If I wasn’t so damn mean, this nigga here wouldn’t have the guts to threaten me. But damn… my p***y looks so fine. Arghhh… the hospital was still quite a distance. I hope Ryder hasn’t heard that his granny survived chemotherapy. 15 minutes later I finally landed at Bellevue Hospital. The building was aesthetically pleasing, the kind of place that would look perfect in pictures. But this wasn’t the time. Inside, the receptionist attended to me and handed me a record book to sign. That’s when panic clawed at my chest. If Lina dies… I’ll be the first suspect. Of course I will. I don’t even have the legal right to visit that witch in the first place. Damn it. What do I do now? The receptionist tilted her head at me. “Ma’am, can you sign? You have three people behind you waiting.” I forced a nod and scrawled my signature, keeping my hand steady despite the storm inside me. Upstairs, I met my ally in vice. She caught my expression immediately and smiled. She always understood my body language without words—that’s what I loved about her. She led me to the ward where Grandma Lina was staying. The old hag looked at me like she wanted to strangle me. But poor thing—she had no strength left. She had been injected with antidote. Awake, but trapped in her own body. Powerless. I let out a deadly laugh. “Now, Sasha, I need you to clear every footage of the affairs that went on. And remove my name from the record book at the receptionist’s office. I’ll handle her—this one. Make sure no one knows she’s okay now. Okay?” “Yes, ma’am.” I slipped her a tip, and she left quickly. I walked up to Grandma. She knew her time had come—the way her breath rattled in her chest said it all. Finally… BAM! The door burst wide open. “Ryder!” My heart thundered.
