(2 months later) Jason Whoever did this to me and my baby Laila, is going to pay for this. And I heard Laila dad wanted to make a visit to the hospital. Wait 'til I see him. You know it's going down. Oh and by the way, Laila and I are out the hospital. My gun wounds have healed up but I have to track these niggas down thinking they can get away with this. I decided to visit my mom with Laila, she knows about how I am in the game but she wants me out but it don't work like that. "Hey sweetie." she gave me a kiss and a hug. "Hey mama. This is Laila, my girlfriend." she looked at her and smiled. "Hi. Nice to meet you, Mrs. Harris." she said holding out her hand. Instead she hugged her. "Please sweetie, call me Sherrie." then she smiled as we sat down. "So, you guys are graduating school soon, huh ?" we just nodded. "That's nice. So Laila, tell me about your family ?" her whole body tensed up and I was on the urge of speaking. "My mom is dead, and my dad is drunken alcoholic. I ran away and moved in with Jason." the expression on Mom's face was sad. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have asked the question about your family. I had no clue." she nodded and glared at me lustfully. "Can you cook, Laila ?" Laila eyes lit up. "Yes, I can. I was planning on being a chef after I graduate." "Jason, you picked out a good one." then footsteps came stomping down the stairs. "Sherrie, what's taking so long ?" my dad said roaring. "Hey dad." I stood up. "Hey, son." we did a manly hug and he looked over at Laila. "And who is this beautiful one right here ?" He said referring to Laila, she just blushed and looked down. "This is my girl, Laila. Laila, this is my dad." she smiled. "Nice to meet you, Jason's dad. You guys look too much alike." then we laughed. "Yes. He's a momma's boy anyway." he gave mom a kiss and sat down next to her. Everybody wished they had a relationship like that. They would argue but then become happy again. "So Laila, you can cook right ?" she was on the urge to speak but mom did. "Yes, Jason, she can. She wants to be a chef." Mom said and he nodded. "Oh. That's wonderful." he smiled at her. Laila "I never knew Jason was a Jr. I was thinking you had a different name." Jason smile dropped fast. "Yes. But he hates to be called that. Unless you wanna stay on his good side, don't call him that." I just nodded and took that note. "Well mom we have to get going." he pulled up and grabbed me towards the door. "Bye Sherrie and bye Jason dad." they smiled as we left the house. "That went well, didn't it ?" then his phone buzzed as he got a call. "Hello." "......" "Are you sure ?" "......." "One." then he hung up. "Bae, I have to---" he looked at me and I put my hand up, stopping him. "Handle business yes I know." then I looked out the window. He sighed before speaking. "Laila, you know how the streets of Atlanta are, ok ? I will be back soon." I nodded and looked out the window as he drove home. "Bye." he tried to give me a kiss but I walked out the door. He honked his horn, signaling for me to come back. "What ?" I said aggravated. "I can't get no kiss ?" I nodded and walked away and he hit the horn again. "What, boy ?" I said because he kept playing with my temper. I'm very short-tempered and he knows that, "You know what, I'll deal with you when I get back." then he drove off. I walked back inside and took a shower and put my phone on the charger and went to sleep. I'm not dealing with him right now.
