Chapter 15 Riding

6 years have passed since Kate and Tyler came into this family. And Tyler is going to be learning to ride his first horse with Kate. It was hard for Tyler to learn because he was scared of the horses. Because he was about 3 or 4, he got kicked by a small horse, so he has been afraid of them for 2 or 3 years. So Kate is the enforcer to make Tyler get back on that horse of his. But Tyler hates it when she makes him do something he does not want to do. Like riding a freaking horse since he was afraid of them when he was a little kid.

One day when Tyler was alone in the barn with the horses. He did something crazy. He conjured his fear of riding, but he was not going to ride his horse, he was going to tame and ride a wild stallion that was in the barn. When he took the stallion to the round pin behind the barn, so no one could see him or watch him train his first horse. When he saddled the stallion and took him to the round pin. And got on the stallion. The horse trusted him with his life, so the stallion was doing what he was doing, what he was told. So when he was ready to go into the front yard to show his family, he told one of the grooms that had come into the barn to go get his family at the castle.

So when the family came out of the castle, Tyler came out of the barn riding wild tame stallion that is now his. When his family saw him on the stallion, that no one could tame him. Seeing their son on the horse. Luke knew that he had a gift for training horses.

Luke said, “Son, did you train this horse?”

Tyler said, “Yes father, I did. He only trusts me to ride him. Because he does not trust anyone to ride him.”

Erin said, “Oh my god Tyler, that horse is dangerous. Please get off of him now.”

Tyler said, “No mother, he is trusting me to ride him and I have the gift of training horses. Because I got that from you.”

Erin said, “Yes you did so, my I pet him. If you tell him.”

Tyler said, “Yes he will if you go slowly. Because if you go fast he will back up from you.”

So Erin went slowly and started to pet him slowly and he was calm, slowly and was petting him while Tyler was on him. Saying soft things to him. So Tyler named Colton of the west.
