Chapter 13 Kate

While Kate was learning to talk and walk, there were things to do for Lana and Joseph could have their own rooms. While Erin was with Kate because Kate was just a baby. Erin put her down in her crib to sleep. When she covered her mouth and when she tasted acid in her mouth, she ran to the bathroom and threw up. She knew she was pregnant, she just hoped it was a boy. When she got down she went and looked for Luke to tell him the good news.

Joseph was the one she found first.

She asked, “Son, where is your father?”

He said, “He is in the barn with the horses.”

Erin said, “Thank you.”

When she got to the barn there, he was talking with the grooms about the horses. She walked up to him and said, “Luke, I have something to tell you.”

Luke said, “I will be right back.”

While she took him to a place she knew about. When her back was against the tree,

She said, “Luke, I have some good news.”

She smiled and was shedding tears.

Then said, “Luke, I am pregnant.”

Luke picked up his wife and kissed her and just held her there. When they got back to the castle, they found everyone in the kitchen. They told them that they were pregnant. Erin's parents and Luke’s parents got up and hugged their children and their kids came and gave them a hug and a kiss and told them if they had a little boy they would name him Tyler after Luke’s friend that was killed. Luke shed a tear for Tyler, his best friend, and he told everyone,

He said, “Tyler would love it if our child was named after him.”

He smiled and picked up Joseph and Lana in his arms and carried them to bed. While Erin was carrying Kate in her arms and she was singing to her so she would fall asleep and not cry all night until the morning.

When the morning came, there was news in the castle. That Erin’s brother was back. When Erin got dressed and went to face her fear of her brother. The minute she saw him, he was older and, oh my god, he was with someone. She got up and smiled at her brother.

She said, “Hello Brother, I am glad to see you. How have you been?”

Her brother turned around and stood his ground waiting to hug her. She nodded and she opened her arms for him to come.

She said, “Blake, please don’t hug me so tight.”

Blake said, “Why.”

She said, “I am pregnant with my 4th child.”

Then said, “Would you like to meet your niece and nephew.”

Blake said, “Yes, oh I almost forgot this is my wife Stella. She is with my child.”

Stella said, “Hi Erin, Blake told me a lot about you.”

Erin said, “Oh really, what did he tell you about me?”

Stella said, “That you are beautiful, nice, a good wife, and that you love animals like your mother.”

Erin said, “Aww Blake, come here and give your little sister a hug.”

Blake nodded and gave her a hug that was not tight and started to cry.

Blake said, “Erin, I’m sorry for what I did. Could you ever forgive me?”

Erin said, “Of course I can forgive you, Blake, because I am the greatest queen and a beloved wife.”

Erin said, “Come and meet your family.”

When they got back, Luke was there playing with the children by the fire.

Erin said, “Luke brings the children to meet their uncle Blake.”

Luke brought the children to meet their uncle.

Erin said, “Meet your uncle and his wife Stella, and his wife is with child, then you guys will have a cousin to play with when he or she visits.”

Luke was holding Kate in his arms.

Erin said, “Luke let Blake hold our new child, Kate.”

She said, “Blake, this is Kate. She is 4 years old and we found her scared to death in the children’s closet with a puppy.”

Then she said, “Oh Joseph, where is the puppy?”

He said, “By the fire, asleep.”
