CHAPTER 14

The spacecraft flows quietly out of the sky, everyone was silent and horrified of what had happened, they knew this person was hunting one of them, so they decided to leave the planet and remain on Gaia for a while. "How about the antidote?" Furia broke the stillness between them. "The antidote can wait," Zire answered, "but for now, we need to focus on our safety." As soon as they arrived in Gaia, the ship slowly landed on a bushes, landing on a flat region surrounded by trees and logs. The sun is progressively setting. Cydee stumbled off of the ship. "Cy! Wait a minute!" Cydney shouted this as she went after him, just like the others. They had no idea where the youngster was heading until they arrived to the studio, where the football event was being held. The junior stood quietly outside the back entrance. 'And goal! 14 out of 22 Congratulations! The match was won by the Redhawks!' When the child realized that his team had lost the game, he went extremely upset, clenched his fist, and fought to keep back his emotions. "You shouldn't run like that you know!" As Cydney panted, the others did as well. The youngster turned around, outraged, and his tears streamed down his cheeks; his siblings and consultants were concerned. "If you were more cautious, none of this would have happened!" Zire was screamed at and sneered at by the junior. "We lost the match, and I almost died because of you!" he exclaimed, turning to face his older brother. "Cydee that's enough! You shouldn't shout in front of your elders like that!" Furia exclaimed. "..I'm going home..." the child says as he walks away from his relatives and consultants. The crew were strolling along the street and Cydney was paving the way. As soon as she opened the front door, there was nothing but quietness. Upon welcoming her guests, Cydney added, "You can rest here for a short time." Furia eye signaled Greer to go talk to his junior in the backyard, and as the soldier entered, he gently strolled towards the child who was sitting on a log, and then sat alongside him, both of them facing a wooden fence. Greer paused for a moment before speaking. "I'm sorry your team lost the game," he says as he cheers on the youngster. "It's fine... it's the team that matters, I don't care if we win or lose, all I want to do is play with them." As he lowered his head, Cydee said. "I see...but how about the previous game you played? Were you there?" Greer inquires quietly. "I was, but the rest of the squad was aggressive towards me...and some of them humiliated me because I was better to them...well, not better... I'm just an extremely active player, and they always blame it on me when we lose... I'm not sure why" he stated as kept his head down. "It's not your fault that you lost the game you were playing at the time, it's the lack of coordination and partnership that you're missing. Never let that grudge grow inside you or you'll hurt people because of it." Greer spoke forward and fixed her stare on the youngster. "I get you, I understand your background, I used to have ruthless teammates and an obnoxious captain until Feint and Zire took over the place, you know... Zire is a splendid Captain and a great friend. You shouldn't blame your brother because you didn't win the championship, you know that, right?" Greer gave him a heartfelt glance. The child returned his gaze. "I didn't mean to say that to him... I was out of line" Cydee responded. "Well, it's never too late for you to apologize to him." Greer stood up and requested before leaving. The Captain is standing on the terrace where Cydney's bedroom is at, with both his palms inside his pockets, looking over the moon that is shining directly before his eyes, when someone knocks on the door, he finally pulls his wits back. "Come in, and also this is your room there's no need to knock" Zire said. "Right...and I'm sorry about Cydee earlier, he didn't mean to yell and blame everything on you, it's not your fault, Zire." Cydney maintained a serene approach. "There's nothing to apologize for, I understand the kid and I know how special his teammates are to him," the captain replied. "His antics remind me of when I was a kid, when I used to yell at my parents when I was disappointed or didn't get what I wanted," the Captain chuckles as he speaks. Cydney laughed quietly as well. Someone knocked on the door, and the elder siblings turned to see Feint. "Captain, we have shocking news," Feint says, holding a holographic screen. Everyone gathered in the living room as Feint shared his screen and looked through the photographs and videos that his teammates had sent him. As everyone looked on, bots were demolishing residences and taking the lives of innocent people, including children. "The virus has progressed to a crucial stage," Furia thought to herself. "No more fumbling around, search this individual's profile immediately, we cannot let this person threaten the entire society, let me know if you find anything," the Captain commanded as he exited the room. Everyone returned to work, assembling their laptops and screens. After hours and hours of exploring and tracking this individual's data base "I got him!" Cydney exclaimed. "He must be named Aero, with no surname. I don't see any relatives or parents, and there is no address for his residence; this is how he looks." Cydney announced and showed her screen to everyone. "We should return to our terrane and confront this person, he's targeting either of us." Furia murmured, looking at Cydney. "Cap! We got one, he's name is–" Before Feint explains he was cut off by the Captain saying, "I know, I over heard your conversation, let me see his image" Zire requested. As Feint handed him the screen, the Captain took a time to glance at the man's face, recalling the man he had eye contact with minutes before. "We're departing tomorrow afternoon, all of you did fantastic today, for the time being everyone get some rest" As his troops left the chamber, Zire issued a command. It's already two early in the morning, and the Captain is sitting alone at the dining table, wrapping up the work he hadn't finished. He grabbed his coffee mug for a refill and went to the kitchen counter, until he heard a noise coming from above. He went upstairs to have a better look, and as he proceeded carefully along the corridor, he noticed a rainbow light under one of the doors. When he entered the room, all he saw were his siblings and his consultants jamming and dancing around. Balloons and bottles are strewn all over the room. When Greer saw Zire on the door, he alerted his friends, and Feint turned the speaker's volume down. The captain stood there with his hands in his pockets, clearing his throat. They exchanged glances. The Captain checked his watch. "It's two in the morning... why aren't all of you on bed?" The man questioned. "Well we're just having fun" Furia replied. "C'mon dance with us!" Cydney chuckled, "I beg you're pardon?... and is that alcohol I smell?" Zire inquired again, "The party is kinda boring without alcohol" Feint replied. "You drank without my perm– Okay, that's it. Everyone. Back to their own rooms. Now" The Captain had given the order. Everyone leapt out of bed and went to their respective rooms. "You're not a party pooper, are you?" Before locking the door, Furia laughed and smiled at his older brother. Zire then proceeded downstairs, turning off the lights at each corner of the wall. He then went back to work, and when one of his papers began to fly away, he looked in the direction of the wind. When the Captain noticed that the front door was slightly open, he stood up and took a closer look to see his younger brother standing alone in the middle of the road. When the man noticed a truck is speeding, he did not hesitate to save his brother, he went after him and pulled him off the road, the vehicle crashed into one of the trees. "Are you okay, Cy?" The Captain asks, and the youngster turned his head to face Zire, and his eyes are utterly blank. The team inside the house rushed outdoors to assess what had occurred. "We heard a crash so we decided to..." Cydney says as she looks at her younger brother, who is pale. "What happened?" Furia questioned. "Looks like we're being followed," Zire said as he rose from the ground. "Being followed? By who?" Furia inquires once more. "Hey cap...no one in the driver's seat... except this" Feint said as he grabbed the brick on the gas pedal. "Aero, he tracked and followed us over there through here, he didn't finish his business with Cydee, so he decided to kill him here." According to Zire. "We better move quickly or one of our blood will be spared at any time." Furia suggested. The man nodded his head and asked his men to pack their belongings. After landing on their planet, they brought their junior to the dome laboratory, and the boy is in the testing room. When their captain suddenly felt an ache, somewhere around his body part, he knew he had to take the vaccine. "I'll be right back no one come close near me unless I say so" Zire told his siblings and his soldiers, as he then proceeded to the ship to take the dose. ~ The man dashed into his warehouse, then tentatively shut the door. He took his syringes and poked them through his flesh, taking a breath before turning on the tape. "I failed, I didn't kill the boy," Aero remarked as he removed his mask and clothes. "Pathetic... ridiculous... they're tireless, aren't they?..." remarked the tape angrily. "If the plan fails, proceed to fallback." The tape follows. "Copy," Aero muttered. ~ "How is he?" Cydney asks, standing next to the specialist. As they both stared out the window at the boy who was sleeping. "He's going to be okay, we just need to run some few tests to make sure he has the same virus as Zire" Kierra replied. "He will, however, have severe headaches, vomiting, and excessive sweating. Since he's a pure mortal after all, his body and Zire's work differently, but it's natural, so there's nothing to worry about " Miss Keirra follows. Their station is in a full state of disarray with the bots sprawled motionless on the ground. As the team wandered around. "About the antidote...where was it again?" Zire asks as he knelt down on one of the bots, "At the Savinski Beguine" Cydney responded, "Bob Schmitz has the key to it, we'll just have to rob it from him" Furia replies. "And how are we going to do that?" the Captain asked. "I have a plan don't worry... but we're gonna need an outfit first" Furia follows. In a gold bodycon with jewelry around their necks and wrists, Cydney and Furia walked to the ship in silver heels. Indigo suit, necktie, and black shoes were Zire's attire. Upon entering the nightclub, each of the three were equipped with a tiny device that was implanted in their ears for communication. As soon as they saw a black limo come up to the driveway, the club was packed with visitors and random people. There was a man with escorts beside him, and the sisters were aware that it was their prey. When the two sisters entered the club, they dashed behind the stage and grabbed two women. Lights went slowly away as they prepared to perform a short sway in front of an audience to entertain them as they waited for the real event to begin. The Dashing Duches whirled around in a charismatic way as the red curtains rose from the floor, and all of the performers began to dance. Finally making his move, Zire made his way to the club, where upon entering he ordered a glass of white wine. His eyes darted around the stage, browsing for his sisters. The captain sat at the back of the club, watching his sister's performance. Cydney eye-contacted Furia as soon as she saw Zire at the back of the club to tell her to take the act. In little time, Furia descended on stage and grasped the man's necktie in a seductive manner. As a result of his amazement, Bob even smiled at the thought of it. While clutching his tie, she led him onto the stage one step at a time, before passing it on to Cydney. Her sister distracted the man while Furia swings and pulls herself closer to their intended target. When she couldn't find the key in any of his pockets, Furia cautiously took her hands out from his sockets, while Cydney simply pointed her eyes on the table where the man was sitting and the cue was laying. Furia's heart nearly skipped a beat when she realized the man didn't have the keys.
