CHAPTER 11

The officers opened fire and the helicopters began shooting at the female cyborg. Because of this, the bots had shielded their superior from being hit by the bullets. Suddenly, one of the police cars went up in flames, as one of the helicopters exploded when a beam struck it and caused it to crash to the ground. A tremendous cloud of smoke had risen as a fire started to form. Citizens screamed as they fled away in terror from the catastrophic event. As soon as the war among both androids and humans occurred, Zire had issued an order declaring, "Let's get everyone out of here! Now!", Her head twitched slightly, sending a signal to the remaining cyborgs to abduct the humans they could see all around them. They jumped out of the spacecrafts, weapons in hand, and ran out of the decks. As she fled from the cyborg that was about to seize her, the small girl screamed for help, but no one could hear her. Though she tried her best to escape, she kept sprinting from her little legs and trying to get away. She shouted and wept as she kept moving around from the robot's metallic claw, which had grasped her pink dress from behind. The machine growled at her, hearing the ear-piercing noise as the small one secured her ears in fright. After a blue laser beam had impacted the bot's head, it then came to a malfunction, melting his iron skull. While his body was releasing smoke and the cyborg imploded, the bot had dumped the girl into the concrete. A gentleman covered her as soon as the bot had burst into pieces. "You alright?" Greer glanced at the girl and questioned softly. In answer, she nodded her head as the man led her to the ship, where she was rejoined with the other victims injured during the combat. Away from the steps, Cydee raced to a stop after witnessing nothing but destroyed automobiles and vehicles, flames and fumes, as well as screams from the terrified crowd ahead of him. In the distance he spotted a few kindergarteners who were standing alone by a tree, and he didn't think twice about helping them out. "Hey hey hey! Guys listen to me we're going to play a game called the caterpillar riot– When he was supposed to finish his words, an explosion struck beside them, making the kids even more frightened. "Alright! Everyone hold hands and follow me! Okay?" The boy led them to a group of citizens who were far enough away from the crisis. Once Cydee had led the kids safely to the individuals, the junior's right arm was unexpectedly hit by a laser, causing him to tumble to the grass. One of the kindergarteners inquired. "Are you okay?", "Don't worry it's just a scratch" he replied. His head tilted to see a cyborg with a g*n sprinting towards them. Cydee, unarmed. The bot was preparing to launch when it was unexpectedly shot in the back of its head. It was then that he turned his head around and saw Feint. "Did you expect us to abandon you?" Feint muttered to the youngster that made him smile, and then he pulled him up with one hand while passing him a handgun. In an instant, both of them were on the run, striving for the enemies. As Zire informed Furia, "The bots have a few pupils in the building and they're transporting them into Nazarath's ship." "Got it", she replied and dashed into the building to look for the students. She walked down hallways and up the stairs and saw them all bound and restrained by the cyborgs ahead of her. "Let them go big boy!" She exclaimed while loading her firearm, Just as the cyborgs was meant to attack, the chunks of the building from above tumbled down and crushed into them, Furia took a step closer and looked up to see nothing but a huge amount of fog, as it slowly withered away, "I thought you needed some help" Cydney said while looking down on them, as Furia chuckles. "Some people are locked inside the mall across the street, and they will be squeezed in there any minute, get them out!" The Captain gave the following order. "Are you serious?" She mumbled in a exhausted manner "On it," she said, and then proceeded on her path to the mall. "Hello? Is anyone here?" Cydney yells as she takes a step forward. "Help! This way! We're stranded!" A teenage girl screamed back, "Don't move, okay? I'll come in and pull you all out." she yelled as she approaches the endangered folks. "Has anyone been hurt or injured?" Cydney inquired. "No, please help us get this thing off!", Cydney nodded in response as she attempted to lift the metal that had become jammed on the citizens, however, the metal was too heavy to be transported. "Guys! I need backup!" Cydney pleaded her case. "Can you tell me where you are?" Greer had questioned. "Across the street in a mall," she responded. ~ "Guys! We're here with the students, and we're all still outside the campus, one of us is struggling to breathe, should we go back?" Gal asked. "No. Stay where you are, the further your away from the battle the better" the captain replied, "Furia, let the kids remain behind inside the aircraft for a while" Zire ordered. "Understood" Furia responded while escorting the children and civilians through the aircraft's interior. While Cydney and Greer tried their hardest to lift the metal that was crushing the victims, they finally managed to pull the alloy up. "Follow me," Greer remarked as he led the residents out the entrance, who all took cover once they were outside. While Furia leads the rest of the group to the plane, which is filled with other students. "I heard one of you is having trouble breathing, can you tell me which one it is?" She inquires, and a blonde girl raises her hand and leans in close to Furia. While she assists the girl with her breathing. "What's the matter?" Furia questioned them. a And as the folks in the back continued to stare what's ahead of them, she gently moved her sight to where they were gazing when she noticed a specie that was more than double the size of the other creatures. She carefully drew her weapon from behind her. "Nobody moves," she declared. Furia was about to pull the trigger when no beam came out of the g*n, she then dropped the sidearm and was terrified. The species's saliva is dripping on the floor, the creature growled and crawled towards them. A blast hit the alien's skull and it collapsed to the ground, its blood all over the floor. Everyone was astonished to find Feint outside the doors that had been opened. "Your welcome" said the man as he put the magnum-sized g*n down. "What did I miss?", Each of the three soldiers chuckled quietly as Cydney emerged out of nowhere with a group of kids. ~ Just as I was running, trying to escape from the battle, I was struck by a beam and fell to the ground, unconscious. As soon as my eyes closed, everything went black around me. Prior to opening them in a haze of pain and disorientation, I tilted my head to see nothing but a fight. "How long have I been lying here?..." "Cydee! Are there at the moment?" When the captain called me repeatedly, I turned on my device and answered. "Yeah... I'm here" It took me a while to get up and gazed around the city. Everything is destroyed, even the streets, and then I realized something that I had forgotten, the energy I had left was already full. "...Does every g*n has an explosive? Right?" I asked in curiousity. As soon as my older brother replied, "Yeah, why?" I grabbed the g*n from the grass and started taking it apart piece by piece until I got to the brick. In pain, I extracted the syringe from my left forearm and kept the crate in one hand, while my other palm grabbed the brick. I then removed the crate's lid, took out the bricks battery, led the little piece inside, and rattled the container until it bubbled. I then searched for their Matriarch and found her ship. Although my throat hurts from shouting "Nazarath!" The female cyborg turned her head and stared at me with her red blazing mechanical eyes. "You want the energy? Right? I'll give it to you in one condition!" I shouted. "You i***t! What are you doing?!" Zire exclaimed. "As soon as you hand it over to her, she'll execute us all! Cydee, think twice before you act!" Furia had responded. The matriarch kindly inquired, "What is your exchange boy?" "All of this is unbearable to me, send your army and ships away, that's all I ask for, and I'll give you the energy." I requested. When the matriarch finally spoke, she ordered her soldiers to return home with their ships leaving one by one. Nazarath standing alone. The boy's condition has allowed him to slowly lift his right hand, and the crate vanished from his grasp. The matriarch's robotic palm is magnetized, and as a result, the crate fell into her hands. "Its heavy" she complimented. "You may leave this planet and never come back", My words to Nazarath as she returned to her ship, as I waited for the brick to self-destruct. Uncontrollably, her spacecraft blew up into parts. All of those on the ground took cover as soon as the explosion occurred. A huge shockwave had engulfed the area and a fire began to form and puff of smoke had risen within the capsule. The piece might be small, but the damage is immense. Nazarath's body was torn apart, the container was demolished, and its energy was all over the floor when the siblings ran over. "We'll take it from here" Cassius had remarked. With Baron and their warriors on his side. The two teams, the Delta Cavillers and The Jovians, had confronted Zire and saluted him with their entire right hand, stating, "Captain." ~ Some students are being treated in an ambulance while others have been sent home. Teachers have informed the police of what happened, but they haven't been able to get any more information from the citizens. They've searched for those who started and ended it, and yet, they haven't found individuals, as time passes, it's already dawn at their location. The siblings have returned to the same woodland where their plane crashed. When the two humanoids are facing each other, Cydney and Cydee are standing on the grass, while their aircraft hovers over them. "...When we will see each other again?.." Cydney asked as she smiles. "We'd love to stay, but we have alot of work to do from up there" while looking up at the midnight blue sky, Furia chuckles to herself as she tilts her head. "How's your arm?" Zire had questioned the boy. "...Erm... still burns" Cydee replied, grasping on his right arm. Greer intervened their conversation saying, "Cap, we gotta go", The two Humanoids took one more glance at their siblings and had said, "We'll stay in touch, it's a pleasure meeting both of you" as saying their goodbyes. Their ship ascended slowly from the grass and vanished directly in front of their eyes.
