"The letter you kept from me. I found it a few years ago in Father belongings. Why would you do. She spoke so highly of you in that letter." he said.
"I know I write it, Gilly," Mother said.
How is that possible, Mother? Gilly died in childbirth. Mother looked down. "Gilly, your mother was 3 feet tall, a very small tiny woman. She was carrying an alpha child. I took her to the doctor when I found out. The doctor advised that she might not survive the birth. Natural or surgical"
"She asked me to write a letter with her own words. That one day I would give it to you when the time was right. She asked me to raise you if anything happened to her. I did." Mother admitted.
"You didn't give me the letter," Gilly said.
"No, your father told me he'd destroyed it after you were born."
So Father hid it in his belongings. Caspian had them packed and stored away in case in the future Gilly or grandfather Mitchell wanted something of him to keep. Caspian is not cruel.
