Ch 21 Caspian

We were travelling back to the pack. Himself, Trey, Harry, Ziggy, and Troy in one car. Winter, Curtis, Eden, Tarla, Tommy, and Rosie in the other.
His vehicle was in front, and Curtis drove behind. It was fairly quiet. He looked at Troy, who was just staring out the window. He didn't see until last second Curtis car was hit, and it flipped in the air.
He slammed on the breaks. Ziggy, Harry watch Troy. You have his permission to kill him if anyone comes for him. Troy's eyes went wide.
"With pleasure, boss," Ziggy said.
Keep your eyes on your surroundings, Harry. Harry nodded. Himself and Trey ran at Winters car, and smoke was coming from it. The right side tyres had been shot. It was upside down. Winter, Curtis, can you hear him. No one answered, and then he heard Curtis voice.
"Caspian, where is winter?" Curtis asked.
"I'm here. I'm okay. My seat belt is stuck, I can't pull free. " Winter said.
He's here, Winter. Curtis and Tommy had managed to crawl out. They both were sat up front. Tarla was next to Winter. She was out cold. Eden and Rosie are in the back.
"I think my leg is broken. My wolf can't feel it. It needs setting," Eden said.
"I'm coming, Eden," Trey said.
Trey pulled on her seat belt, and it snapped her free so he could pull her out. He carried her to the side of the road. Yes, her leg was broken. Eden, can you still feel your toes.
"Yes but it f*****g hurt.," she said. Good you haven't severed anything. "I know I'm pre med," she snapped at him.
Rosie, are you okay? "I think I've discolated my shoulder,"
Caspian helped her up. "Come to me, Rosie. I'll pop it back in. I have already been learning about broken bones, and I've set enough with dad. " Eden said
Caspain helped Rosie bend down. Trey, can you help. He needs to get Winter and Tarla out. He turned to see Curtis pulling Tarla was she was still unconscious. She must have hit her head. We need to get her to a hospital all of you. Winter finally came out with her dad. Are you alright?
"Yes, what happened?"
He doesn't know it looks like the tyres have blown. Winter your head is bleeding.
"I'm okay. How is everyone else."
Tarla is still unconscious, Eden leg is broken. It looks like Eden has popped Rosie shoulders back in. Tommy and your dad just have a few scratches, but okay.
"Troy," she asked.
Being watched. "Have you called your mother? we need warriors and cars,"
No, but he will now he wanted to make sure you were alright. "I'm fine,"
Curtis walked over. "The tyre was shot with a bullet. This was done on purpose,"
Cordeila, most likely. He pulled out his phone and called his mother. "Caspian, is everything okay?"
No, we were attacked, mother. Winter car tyres were shot with a bullet and the flipped.
"Oh no, is everyone still alive?" Mother asked.
Yes, broken bones, cuts, and bruises. Tarla is breathing but still unconscious. She's hit her head hard. He needs you to send Charles and his team. We are unprotected here.
"Okay, and I'll send Dr Lowell. She'll be able to help." Mother said.
Caspian was looking round. Why haven't we been attacked again. Someone clearly wanted us to crash. We are in rouge territory.
"That's what I was thinking. Why do this and not attack," Curtis said
He doesn't know we are at a weakness. Why not attack, but just watch and wait. It doesn't make any sense. It was about an hour later when Charles arrived with reinforcements. Dr Lowell arrived. Hello Dr. Thank you for coming.
"Of course, your family. When your mother told me what had happened, I knew I needed to come. Let me get to work. "
She started with the worse she wanted to start in rank order, but he waved her off. She went straight to Tarla, who had started to come round.
"Please just lay still, Tarla. You have a very bad head injury. You need a ct when we get back to the pack. Eden, your leg can be easily fixed, but it will have to be done in surgery, but I can splint it now and give you something for the pain."
She turned to Rosie."Well done Eden you did a good job. I will scan you also when we get to the hospital to make sure everything is good, but from what I can see, you will have no problems." she said.
Dr Lowell checked over his unit, himself, and Tommy. All just cuts that were mostly healed now. She started to go bright red. As he looked at the cut on Curtis's chest. Curtis smiled.
"Dont worry, doc, you won't hurt me,"
Dr Lowell went even more red. She cleaned his wound. "You.. you should be fine. Your wolf will heal you well," She said.
"I'm sure he will," Curtis said, grabbing her hand. "Thank you. You have a gentle touch. " He said.
Dr Lowell went more red. Caspian couldn't help laugh. She scowled at him. He raised his hands. He'll be quiet. She walked over to Winter to check on her.
"Your doctor is a cutie," Curtis said.
Well, he's never seen her like that before, that why he laughed. She's always been a professional. She's the director of his hospital. If she wants anything, it's a yes she can buy whatever she wants. She has a lot of letters after her name.
"But she's here helping us. Why?"
Caspian smiled. She's also his great aunt. So she will have heard and will have wanted to come herself. It's her family. Curtis nodded. Dr Lowell walked over.
"Caspian, everyone who needs medical attention is loaded up. I'm going to take them straight to the hospital. We will meet you there."
Yeah, thank you. Dr Lowell, wait. He would like to introduce you to war general Curtis frost. Who is Winters father. Curtis, this is his aunt Mala but normally goes by Dr Lowell even by him. Always the professional. She wacked him.
"It's nice to meet you, Curtis. My nephew here is trying to embrass me,"
It was just himself, his unit, Winter and Curtis left, and 20 warriors. When black smoke was surrounding them.
"Everyone quick to the floor cover your mouth. " Curtis said.
After a few minutes, the smoke cleared, and they were surrounded by rouges. Some in human form and some in wolf form.
"Oh hello Caspian nice to see you again. It's been too long. You're still hot. I see,"
He heard a two toned growl from Winter. Both her shifters didn't like the comment.
"Oh, I see you have a new mate. No mark yet. Have you missed me?"
He laughed. Is that the best you have, Cordeila? You are a joke. You were never worthy of being his luna. A luna wouldn't cheat and would want to help a pack, not use it for their personal gain.
You lied to your son all his life. You told him Caspian was his father. He isn't, but he can take a guess you wanted Troy to hate him enough to kill him. You didn't bet on a Royal War General being here to catch your son.
"No matter I have you now,"
Do you? So aggrogant as always. You highly underestimate him. Gilly is in the cells, by the way, so if you think he's going to help you. Cordeila was just scowling at him.
"No matter. You are still going to die today,"
She went to run at him, and then Winter stepped in front. Winter?
"It's okay Caspian she wouldn't be able to take me on. Yes, to answer you. Yes, I'm young, a lot younger than you. The goddess gave him an older woman, which was probably meant to help him mature, but we all know that didn't work. Yes, Caspian is still very hot. In every way. "
Caspian kissed her mark spot. Winter never took her eyes off Cordeila. Cordeila went to run at her, and Winter stepped forward, pushing her aura at them. The rouges bowed down, and Cordeila stumbled to the ground.

"Royalty. Warriors captured her now," Winter said.
As Winter ordered the warriors. A ball of smoke entered the forest, and we all went to the ground, and then it was silent. We all stood up, and Cordeila and her rouges were gone.
"What the hell was that?" Trey said.
He doesn't know, but clearly, they have someone helping them. Do we still have Troy?
"Yes, I think the plan was to take Troy and try and kill us. Winter, using her aura, surprised them, and whoever was helping them knew they wouldn't win." Trey said.
Let's go home. We can talk about this in the safety of the pack. We all jumped in the car, but not before seeing two large silver eyes watching us. Yes, whoever helped them were here too.
