Willow. The deeper we walked, the quieter the forest became. It was like even the trees knew where we were heading. Like they didn’t want to be part of what was waiting up ahead. The wind change too to something colder and thicker. Every crunch beneath our boots felt too loud and too real and too final. Damon had been quiet the whole time.
