Three days, three long ass days and I have yet to find shelter. Shay and I have been sleeping in the car for the past 3 days and speeding off when I feel any sign of danger. Tiamat explained a few things to me but I’m still having a hard time wrapping my head around this.
“Is Shay asleep?” Tiamat asked, popping up out of nowhere.
“Yes she’s really out cold” I answered with a small giggle.
“Good now you can pay close attention, you are Nailah Morningstar not Beezlebub. Your mother is Lilith of Edan, she ran away from the underworld because of your father Lucifer Morningstar. You are the princess of light and darkness, your father is satan himself but your grandfather is God. You were supposed to prevent war between the two factions but your mother took you away from your father to stir up trouble. She used you to get back at him and toy with his emotions. Your mother married the archangel Micheal after your father swore to make you queen instead of her.” She explained.
“Heh” I said confused, I literally just short circuited.
“Go to your father and stop running child, he’ll help you unlike your mother” she said, making me look a little skeptical.
“His minions killed my family” I barked.
“You foolish child, your grandfather is the all powerful and almighty God. Do you really believe he would allow himself to be defeated but a lowly fallen” she said with disgust.
So here I am now driving to lord knows where I’m attempts to find some sort of connections to my father. We’re low on money and pretty soon we’re just gonna be ass out because I’m not stealing a damn thing from nobody if they worked hard to get it.
Suddenly I was pulled out of my thoughts by this feeling as if it were danger coming near.
“Grab Shay and hide somewhere you can’t put run this one” Tiamat exclaimed, making me hop out of the car quickly and grab Shay out of the passenger seat before fleeing into the woods across the street from where I had parked. I found a tree with a gaping hole in it and put Shay in there before trying to find a different place to hide.
This feeling is very familiar but I can’t seem to wrap my head around who it could possibly be.
“Did you really believe you could hide from me?” a familiar voice said from above me.
“Micheal” I said with a shocked expression.
“Where do you think you’re going, the fallen are down, it's time to return home” he barked at me as if he was actually my father.
“To find Lucifer” I answered, shrugging my shoulders.
“Do you really believe I’ll let you ruin my plans for war like this” he asked me with a chuckle.
“What in the hell are you talking about?” I asked, confused.
“Die you lowlife twit” he shouted shooting a ball of divine light directly at me.
“Heh, come again. What’d you just call me” I asked in a funny tone, dodging the light energy completely unphased.
“A lowlife twit, you heard me” he growled rushing down towards me.
“Ok. That’s what I thought you said” I responded in the same tone as before delivering a strong kick to his face sending him into a tree. “You see I’ve been training with Tiamat in my mindscape for the last few days, I'm not going down with a fight.”
“Good to see you’ve made an effort princess” he said in a sarcastic tone cracking his neck and flying at me full speed pulling out his holy sword.
“STAY AWAY FROM THAT SWORD” Tiamat yelled, scaring the s**t out of me causing me to lose focus.
“Really b***h” I said with a blank expression before getting slapped to the other side of the continent by Micheal and his punk ass sword.
“What happened princess I thought you were prepared for this” he said with a wicked grin. Bleeding from my head I slowly removed myself from the tree I was embedded in and spat out a thick wad of blood. Before I had time to even blink he flew at me like a fat girl when she hears the word “twinkies” and used a mean uppercut to send me flying into the night sky.
I closed my eyes and braced myself for impact only to feel myself being grabbed and held bridal style. I opened my right eye just a little to get a peak of my savior. She was a beautiful melanin goddess with piercing red dragon like eyes, long burgundy hair that had the curl pattern bestowed upon her by the hair gods, and a jawline that could cut government cheese.
“Are you alright princess” she asked me, making me open both my eyes and give her a faint “yes” in response.
“How dare you interfere with family business” Michelle yells up at us.
“I can interfere with what I want and do as I please seeing as I am Princess Nailah’s protector” she responded loudly in a deep commanding voice that made me weak in the knees.
“Be careful child, your hoe is showing” Tiamat said giggling.
“I’m glad nobody else can hear you” I said mentally face palming.
