E͟t͟h͟a͟n͟ I pull the pillow from behind my head with a sigh. Maybe fluffing it will help me fall asleep. I sit up and place it in my lap before gently punching it. I grasp the edges and shake it around until it's visibly puffed. It brings back memories of my childhood. I grin as I lower myself, adjusting the pillow to support my head just right. I rest both hands under my head as I settle in. I can't stop thinking about Ivy. I want her to be happy. I want her to be at peace but there's so much she has to overcome. She's afraid to go anywhere so we've stayed home. The city's not far and there are several towns close by; I can't convince her to even drive into town with me.
