E͟t͟h͟a͟n͟ "Mom..." "Stay still sweetie..." "Mom, I got it." I pull myself from my mother's grasp on my suit. I finish adjusting my tie and smooth down my shirt, making sure it's fully tucked into my pants. I look at my mother through the mirror, her gentle smile shining through. She looks resplendent in a gorgeous one strap gold gown. Her ash blonde hair is streaked through with silver, her curls piled high into an elegant updo. The cut of her gown shows that her figure has lost none of its shape over the years. She's had her fair share of suitors, even at 55, but has decided to remain single. For now at least.
