Hron sat at the head of the large conference table with Khall standing behind him. The room was packed to capacity and then some. It wasn’t just Hron’s family. Elijah, Abe, Spencer, Petree, Bryant, and Mason were there as well as Peth, Caden, Dak, and Groth. What really was concerning to Khall, was the fact that the gem brothers were also there, sitting at the table…
well, all but Jade and Topaz.
Khall didn’t know why the meeting hadn’t started yet, but then Doctor Oleander rushed inside,
“Sorry, I was just finishing my early appointment when I was asked to join you all. I had to rearrange my morning.”
“That’s fine Doctor Oleander.” Hron said, with a slight nod.
