Summer's pov

she walked out of the shower in the most panache way, He had ever seen,her tight short gown showing her curves,her hips swayed from side to side as she approached him,his eyes transfixed unable to pull away.

It's late what's the occasion she asked as she was becoming uncomfortable with his stare.

Today's the boss birthday Ray said

Droolan? You mean Droolan has a birthday? I thought he was thrown from hell summer said while laughing.

Everyone has a birthday pumpkin.now if you are done laughing let's go Ray said.

Thanks for the invitation but I"d Rather stay in this ...this room than go the devil's party summer said

No you don't get it ,I'm not asking you if you want to or not, it's an order ...you don't have a choice he said.

And why does Droolan want me at his party,is he planning to kill me in front of everyone summer asked.

Maybe Ray said..we are getting late,move your a*s pumpkin .

Is he really going to kill me today?summer thought.

It was a long and boring drive, Ray didn't say anything to summer neither did she say anything to him.

It made her miss mum,unlike dad she was fun to be with, they would chat while driving and when their favorite music comes up, they sing along .

Summer was closer to mum than dad because he was always busy with work..work was always first for him,he was a greedy man..i doubt he will give Droolan what he wants,I need to leave this place somehow, she thought I can't wait for dad. sometimes I wonder what mum saw in him.

Summer didn't realize the car had stop.

When they got inside, summer searched for Droolan, but he was nowhere to be found.

Ray noticed she was searching for someone so he asked ...are you expecting someone to be here, or are you planning on how to escape he said .

No they are alot of people here she said .

Why, were you expecting animals to be here Droolan said rolling his eyes .

When the celebrant himself is an animal ,what do you expect summer replied picking a drinking.

Let's dance Ray said.

I don't dance summer replied picking another drink ...

He collected the drink from her, kept it on the table,you will get drunk if you keep drinking like that.

He held her hand with his hand and the other slid around her waist .he drew her closer covering the gap between them.

She could feel the warmth of his breath on her neck. He leaned closer, try not to step on me .he said

They danced untill the music stopped .I need to use the restroom,excuse me summer said.

Don't do anything stupid he said and be careful they are so many irresponsible men here. he said.

And you are responsible ? Summer asked

He tilted his head back and looked up at her with a smile , yes he said.

Summer went upstairs, looking for a way to leave the place,she knew it was impossible tho, the place was heavily guarded.she then heard an unfamiliar voice from behind.

Hey beautiful,seems your lost,

Yes please I said,where can I find the restroom she asked.

Follow me he said..he was drunk,he couldn't even walk properly.

Thankyou she said , when they arrived, she noticed he wasn't willing to leave...

You can leave now she said,I can manage on my own .

How can I leave just like that he said, coming closer.

Don't come any close she warned

He was so close to her .. summer could smell the alcohol whenever he talks , he grabbed her hands forcefully,then she screamed on top of her voice..RAY!!!.

Ray's pov.

She was taking to much time Ray thought.he then decided to go after her, when he went upstairs he heard a voice similar to summers Ray help me ..he headed towards that direction.

Summer's pov.

Ray saw summer struggling with a man ...let go of her he said .. without waiting for his response Ray punched him really hard on the face..he immediately went unconscious.

Ray ran towards summer, are you okay? He asked

I'm fine thankyou she said ...she held the place he had grabbed her forcefully,it was hurting.Ray noticed and took her hands ,did he do this to you he asked in an angry tone.

Yes, but it's fyn summer lied.

His gaze met hers, I warned you didn't I ? He said

There are so many irresponsible men here he said,let's go downstairs .

Then I heard a gunshot, it came from downstairs.

RAY.

I screamed,I held him Tight refusing to let go.

Shh I'm here he said,I didn't realize I had hugged him, I was shaking.

ray held me in his hands for a while, I felt safe .

I feel safe whenever I'm with him , how stupid how could I feel safe with the enemy.

Stay here I will be back he said...

I hugged him tighter ...no no don't leave pleasee,I'm scared summer said.

He then locked the door, summer was resting on the wall close to the switch,as she quivered in fear ,he removed his jacket and covered her.

She wasn't cold ,she was scared but she didn't bother,Ray took a step forward covering the little gap between them, look at me he whispered.

Her big green eyes met his, he could see the fear in them, she was so volunerable at that moment,the brave girl was gone.

Don't be scared, I won't leave he said

Summer trusted his words,

His gaze moved from her eyes to her shivering body and then to her lips,he looked at her in an erotic manner.

Which made summer flopping...

He then switched off the light.
