“So does that mean more Rangers will come soon?” More Rangers meant that the Legacy government would be re-established on Leonis Alpha. There was no place for a vampire on a government-run station.
Rory tugged on his arm. “We need to talk. Come on, I’m sure we can find some privacy in the middle of all this chaos.”
Libs apprehensively followed him up the stairs, unsure of where they stood now that it was all over. He had known whose side he was on when it came to Jane, but this was different. This was Rory’s government, the same agency that had hunted him and tormented him in the name of science. Rory was on his side, but Libs knew other Rangers would not be.
