MIRACLE ATTERMAN
I'm lost. I cannot find the way home. I lost the path where I should go.
The sound of the howling waves in the sea is making me forget that my life is in the point of crashing my soul. The cold and fresh breeze is making me relax a bit. The smell of the salty air reminds me that my life is bitter.
Looking at the shore from my room's window makes me reminisce the old days where I used to play in there with the most especial man in my life. And as fast as the lightning my tears began to fall.
I lost my Father when I was 16 and then, that is when my life change. It changes easily just like how a clock changes it's hands direction. With a blink of an eye, I lost the only person who understands me. He died because of illness that we failed to defeat because of lacking money for his everyday treatment. That's the most hard event for me. Seeing your love ones fighting for their life in front of you.
"Miracle! Come down here we have a guest!"
That's my stepmother. She's my father's second wife. When dad died, she calls herself as my only guardian. Guardian my ass! She was never been a mother to me ever since the very start of her relationship with my father. She'll hurt me every time dad is on work. And now she is setting dates for me for her own good.
As much as I don't like to date some random guys that she keep on pushing to me. I don't have a choice. I don't have the means yet to move from this place yet. I'm still studying, I'm 23 now but those memories in my head is like a fresh circumstance that always has a flash black button.
I'm slowly walking down the stairs as my very own stepmother is talking to someone that I'm sure she'll make me date with. Ugh! This life sucks!
"What is it now?"
I asked as soon as I set foot in our living room. She excitedly came crossing to me with wide smiles on her face and an eye that tells me to act good. I mentally roll my eyes on her retort.
"This is my daughter Miracle. She's a beauty isn't she?"
She says as she introduces me to this man who looks like an investigator because of his black long coat and hat outfit.. Strange.. And oh my God this man is obviously too old for me! What was she thinking?
The man smile and nod like what my stepmother said is agreeable.
"Yes, she is. So, shall we go now?"
Here we go again...
And i didn't thought that another chaos is on my way.
