Maganda’s Beginning

11:00 PM, May 06, 2027:

A pregnant woman named Gregoria was sleeping with her husband when she felt a sudden pain. She on labor. Her husband woke up instantly but Gregoria said they will not make it to the hospital.

It is a good thing that Gregoria is an Obstetrician, they have all the things that they needed for home birth. She just instructed her husband on what needs to be done and everything went smoothly — well as smoothly as possible with home birth and with no midwife or Doctor.)

Then at exactly 12 Midnight, Maganda was born.

The husband and wife immediately felt that their daughter is special. Because their child can already see and can take in the surroundings, which is something that newborns can’t do. But they accepted it because they really love her.

Unbeknownst to them, A deity named Maria Makiling as well as the other good Engkantos are watching them.

Maganda is the youngest and only daughter of Gregoria and Andres Vasquez. Her Mother is a well-known Obstetrician and her father is the City Mayor. She also has three older brothers — Yes, they are triplets. Which is Makisig, Maliksi, and Matalino.

At the age of 4, Her 3 brothers see to it that they teach them what they know. They are 10 years older than her. Makisig and Maliksi taught her sports and both also joined her on martial arts lessons. Makisig was incharge with teaching her sports that requires strength and endurance, while Makisig is incharged with sports that requires speed and accuracy. Every Saturday though, the 3 of them spends their afternoon learning Arnis.

Matalino tought her how to read, write, count, and anything academic. Every night, before they go to sleep, they will read a story, and Maganda’s favorite stories are about Mythical creatures.

She grew up strong, fast, wise, but above all, with humble and kind heart.
