Nell’s POV
As soon as he pulls the keys out the ignition, Ben’s out the car. He opens up the boot and grabs his gym bag before making his way to the front door.
I wipe my eyes and my cheeks, they’re stiff from all the tears I’ve cried. I didn’t want to wipe them earlier as I didn’t want him to know I was still crying.
I felt so pathetic, but when he was talking about s*x and how mates were supposed to want each other. It’s like I realised all over again what I had lost. He was exactly right. Part of the mate bond was about physical intimacy. As an alpha female, I had been through Luna training. I know that part of my role is to be whatever he needs.
