Chapter 12

"Oh my god," I laughed as we stepped into the party. Thomas held Mia close to him as they parted from the rest of us. Ali went off to get a drink, and Tessa and Aiden went out towards the back, which left me and Xander. "Who's staying alcohol free?" I asked, turning to face him. "I will, you had to do it last time," he smirked. But that was totally not true, he was the sober one last time. He just liked seeing me with alcohol in my system. "Alrighty," I laughed, heading towards the kitchen with him following me. I helped myself to a drink and went outback with Xander. We had fun at the party until around two, and that's when Xander gathered us all up and left. Ali was drunk as hell, claiming that unicorns were her best friend and Josh Hutcherson was her true love. I had a couple more drinks and was a little drunk, but not enough that I had no idea what was going on. I fell asleep on the way home, along with everyone else except for Xander. "Taylor, we're home," someone said, shaking me awake. I let out a groan and just curled up even more, but arms quickly wrapped around me and a couple seconds later I was softly set on a bed. Arms wrapped around me and I fell into a peaceful sleep. I woke up the next morning with the tiniest of headaches. "Here," Xander said, handing me a bottle of water and two aspirins. "Thanks," I groaned, swallowing them and then drinking half the water bottle. I began to feel a little better in the passing minutes. "Just be glad you're not as drunk as Ali," Xander laughed. "She did get pretty drunk last night, didn't she," I laughed. My headache has subsided now and I was feeling loads better. "I wish unicorns were my best friend." "But I'm your best friend," Xander pouted, shooting out his bottom lip. I giggled at his childish behavior but pressed my lips to his. Xander kissed me back hungrily. He shoved his tongue in my mouth and I responded with just as much fierceness. "We need to stop," Xander said, pulling his lips away from mine and panting heavily. I nodded in agreement. "So what should we do today?" I asked, walking into the living room and plopping down on the couch. Xander came and sat next to me, pulling me into his side. "I don't know," he sighed. "We should go on a picnic," I proposed. "Just us two." "Are you asking me out on a date, Ms. Greenwood?" He asked in a very formal voice. "Well someone has to," I replied in the most laid back tone, and then pressing my lips to his lightly. He wrapped his arms around me and tried to deepen it, but I pushed him away. "Later," I whispered in his ear before getting up and running away. I went into the closet and picked out black leggings and a cream sweater, along with a pair of knee high brown boots. I took a shower yesterday after training so I didn't bother with that. I put my hair up into a messy ponytail and out on a small amount of makeup. I did the rest of my routine in the bathroom and then walked out. Xander had changed into khaki shorts and an Under Armor t-shirt that clung to his body. "Hi," I said, walking into the kitchen. "Hi." I began to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for us, threw in some cans of lemonade, a box of chocolate chip cookies and strawberries. I folded a blanket and out in a basket, along with our food. "Let's go!" I said excitedly. Grabbing the basket and his hand and pulling him out of our room. We walked in silence, holding hands, to the clearing and layed out the blanket and I set out our food. "Do you think you'll want to have kids one day?" Xander asked out of the blue. I looked at him, a little startled, but nodded, not being able to help the smile that formed on my face. The thought of Xander being a father to our kids made it impossible not to smile. "Me too," he agreed, pulling me between his legs as he took a bite out of his fourth sandwich. "Why?" I asked, l*****g the jelly off my fingers. "I don't know, I was just wondering," he laughed. "I hope you know that we're gonna have a lot of kids," he said seriously. "And I wouldn't have it any other way," I smiled, pressing my lips to his. It got intimate very quickly and like always, I was the one in control and stopped before we 'got it on' in the middle of the woods. "We need to finish this," Xander said in a husky voice, and when I looked into his eyes, I knew he was right. They were black and full of l**t, and without even grabbing our stuff he picked me up bridal style and we ran to the pack house and jumped into our window. I was extremely turned on as all of this went down. ~~~~~~~~ "Good morning beautiful," came a very sexy voice in my ear. Lips were planted softly to mine but I roughly responded to it, deepening it. I softly grabbed Xanders cheeks in my hands and slowly brought them down his chest as the kiss got more demanding and rough. His fingers traced the hemline of his shirt that I was wearing, slowly lifting it up. "Just take it off already," I whispered into the kiss. An hour later, or at least I think it was an hour later, I rolled off of my mate, both of us trying to catch our breath. "We need to train today," I groaned, really not wanting to leave the bed at all today. I wanted to continue to spend it with Xander, doing what we had just been doing. "Come on, I promise we can do this tonight. I have work to catch up on after training," Xander whispered in my ear. "Promise," I whispered, planting soft kisses up his neck and along his jaw. A moan escaped his mouth and I couldn't help but smile. "I promise. But one more kiss won't hurt," he said, pushing his lips onto mine hungrily. I kissed him back but pulled away after a couple seconds. "Yes it will," I laughed, finally forcing myself out of bed. I probably should take a shower but it would be for nothing later. I threw on a black sports b*a and Xanders old football jersey, along with a pair of black capri leggings. I put my hair into a tight ponytail and went out to the room, and Xander wasn't there. I made myself some peanut butter toast and filled up a huge water bottle with freezing water. I reached the training grounds and was happy to see everyone already there. "I've assumed you've all stretched?" I asked as I set my water bottle down. I saw nods and many people said "yeah." "Great. We're gonna start off by running ten miles around the edges. Go!" I shouted. I began to do it with ease. Ten miles was easy for them, but this was only the beginning. After everyone had run ten miles, we did endless minutes of planks and multiple hundreds of sit-ups and push-ups. I taught them how to throw a good punch and how to attack their attacker with the element of surprise. We ended training with fifteen miles and then everyone was free to go. "Goodness, I thought you were my friend," Ali laughed, walking towards the pack house with me. We reached it quickly but I immediately took the smile off my face when I saw Xanders face. "Xan what's wrong?" I asked, approaching my mate. "Everything," he said, his voice sounding absolutely horrified.
