EPISODE 20

I had just finished recounting my ordeals to Kelvin in the sitting room, I had decided not to tell him during the day since I was very exhausted and needed to rest, I had woken up hours later and went to work in the tomato garden while Kelvin accompanied me to the market to get some goods. After we finished all of those, it was dark, so I decided it was the proper time to inform him about my discoveries, including the photo of the young man from Heartrow that I had seen on the laptop at Mr. Emmanuel Adam's mansion. "That doesn't rule out the possibility that he was involved in the young man's death," Kelvin remarked, glancing at me. "So, what was the young man's photo on the laptop doing?" I inquired, a huge smile on my face. "Can't you see how that young man could be a relative?". Kelvin inquired, his fist clenched. "How about the bottom of the mail question of whether to kill or kidnap?" I asked him a question, but he didn't respond; instead, he just stood there staring at me. "You see, as much as I don't agree with what you did, I believe it has helped us forward in this mission," he finally replied, smiling. ” I'm going to the port tomorrow to see what they're shipping; are you going to join me?" I inquired, but he simply shook his head. He answered, "No, I'm not coming with you; I've got other things to do." "Anyway, Daniela is accompanying me, but you know you're a guy, so..." He came up behind me and said, "I, Joseph, and James have work tomorrow," he remarked as he turned on the sports decoder. I told him, "Let this be between us, I'm going to the port tomorrow," and he nodded. "Just be careful," he cautioned, his gaze fixed on the football on display. "Wait, I'm hoping you and Daniela don't have anything going on?" He inquired as I burst out laughing. " Which Daniela?" you might wonder. "The same Daniela we both know," he laughed when I asked him. I told him, "You should know better, dude." "How is Tonia doing? Did she respond to the letter?" Kelvin questioned me once more, and I snarled and shook my head. "I haven't heard from her since I wrote to her," I said, irritated by the fact that I hadn't seen or heard from Tonia. He smiled at me and said, "hey, don't be down buddy, Tonia will be ok." "I hope so," I responded, recalling the brief time I'd spent with her, Tonia. "She's the best," I eventually blurted out after a few minutes, "it's a goal, the first goal in 10 minutes, this is fantastic," Kelvin said as he leaped to his feet. I whispered as I walked into the kitchen, "Foolish boy." "Dish for me, I'm hungry too," he yelled after me, "I can't hear you," I replied. ********************************************************************************************************** DANIELA'S POV: I was stunned as I stood there starring at Mr.Emmanuel Adam, wondering where I had gone wrong and how he had figured out my secret identity as a spy. I glanced at him, trying to think of a short lie, but my talent to deceive failed me. There were up to six guards encircling me, and there was no way I could take them all out on my own; this is where Richard comes in handy. "And you speak with them through this ear piece as well," he added as he pressed the small micro ear piece in my ear. "So you've been watching me?" "You think I won't know?" he demanded fiercely. Do you have any idea who I am? "Even Christopher your master can't spy on me," he remarked, startling me. "How did he know, Sir Christopher?" I asked myself silently. "Aren't you going to say anything?" I wondered. I tried to defend myself by saying, "Yes, I am a spy, but I am not spying on you." "Shut up, James, my boy already told me everything," he yelled angrily, and I was taken aback. "Are you surprised? Yeah, James, my humble boy," he said again, "James, I never anticipated this from you," I grumbled. " God, just give me a chance to let go of that f——-g son of a b—-h," I prayed again. ” Hannah, Richard, Joseph, and Kelvin were also mentioned by him. So tell them I'm coming for them, too," he continued, smirking, as I swallowed my spit. "How do I know you weren't the one who broke into my house the other day?" He inquired, "I wasn't the one," I assured him. "So, where were you at 2:00 p.m. yesterday?" He demanded angrily, "I was in the room," I said confidently. In the meantime, the members of the club began to flee. He laughed and replied, "Hahaha, You think you're smart." "What exactly do you mean?" "You see, I had ordered one of my guards to send a flower as a surprise to you about 2:00, and to do so, I had given him the spare key to that room," heI said, as i started appearing terrified. He arrived to the room to find the door locked; with the use of the extra key, he was able to gain entry, only to find the room completely vacant," he laughed. I instantly lied, "I was in the swimming pool at the back of the hotel." "That doesn't change the fact that you're a spy who's been ordered to spy on me with your colleague; I'd like to meet them someday." He jumped up from his chair and walked out, laughing maliciously. "Take her, beat her up, and lock her up; we'll ship her with the others tomorrow." I overheard him say to his boys before leaving the club, which was now as quiet as a graveyard because everyone had fled in fear of what was about to happen. Fighting was pointless because I had no chance against the six guards; this wasn't a scene from a movie when Jackie Chan fights 20 people and escapes; this was real life. "Search her first," one of the guards said, "Of course, we'll search her," another said as he pushed me on the ground and began feeling my body; he reached my waist and felt the gun; he raised up my gown without shame or fear, and he withdrew the gun from my bomb short. "I'm sorry for a lady as lovely as you being a spy," he murmured as he dug deeper into my heels and took the knife.
