Luca's POV
"Let her be, Serena!" I let out. This was the right time for Astrid to face all of this fuss, she needed all the rest that she could get.
"You got it boss!" Serena replied. I stood and watched all three of them back away from her. I discreetly rolled my eyes and let out a sigh before I reached out to Astrid.
"Let's go inside, Astrid!" I said to her. She sort out of half walked, half limped toward me. I watched with immense pity, I don't know why she didn't want me to help her out even when it was obvious that she was in a lot of pain and she needed all the help she could get.
It would have taken me nothing to carry Astrid all the way inside, but she would prefer to rather get shot again than to let me do that.
