The tension in the air was high as some of their heads were turned to me from Halo's comment. I didn't know how difficult the Hills were to them, but it seems me getting rid of them in just one night and driving their leader into hiding.
“It took you a whole month to even put a dent on their business and he got rid of them in one night.” One of the two women at the table threw her head back in laughter, pointing at Javier who was livid.
“It proves nothing.” Javier scowled, pointing in my direction. “You don't belong here Santoro. You can't come in here and start acting like royalty all of a sudden because you got rid of the Hills family in a night.”
