Gabriela dragged her feet to the living room after retrieving the hundredth cup of tea she had made herself for the past two days. Her mother and the triplets were staying at her grandparents’ house until tomorrow, so she had the entire apartment to herself. Not that she could enjoy that much of her sudden freedom — all she did while they were gone was sleep and roll around in bed.
Her fever had gone down and her nose was no longer runny, so she had confirmed with Lina that she would be joining them for the tournament tomorrow. Whether she would play or not was still under question, but she wasn’t going to miss the first match of her team.
She flopped down on the sofa, reaching out for her phone. She unlocked it and opened the message she got from Harper, grimacing.
