A light tickle woke Gabriela up, her eyes springing open and locking on the faded wallpaper a few inches away from her face. She stared at it without moving, trying to wake herself up fully and figure out what was wrong with her body.
The tickle returned, starting from her hip and moving over the line of her body until it reached her shoulder. It took her a second to realize it wasn’t an internal feeling, but rather something was touching her skin.
