Gabriela wrapped the towel around her body, tiptoeing to her locker in the changing rooms and quickly slipping on a pair of socks. While the temperature was bearable, the tiled floor was ice cold. The practice had been gruesomely hard this time — Lina had stepped up her game ever since they had classified for Regionals and even Gabriela felt her legs shake after running around, jumping, and throwing herself on the ground all afternoon.
