A slow murmur rose in the classroom and Gabriela stared at the intercom with growing uneasiness, her stomach twisting in a knot. A few people glanced towards her, but nobody said anything. The teacher had to hush them for everyone to settle, as Kyle’s voice kept echoing through every room in the school.
