Gabriela walked with her head down, squeezing Kyle’s hand as if it was the only thing keeping her from falling through the ground. Her emotions were still rampaging inside of her, but she tried to keep them under a lid for his sake.
She couldn’t put down all those fears with just a flick of her fingers and she couldn’t forget about all that she had been through. But with that strong, warm hand squeezing hers, she knew there was a chance to walk away from the things holding her back. All she had to do was let go of that fear and step into the world waiting for her outside her high walls.
