Chapter Eight

[Khyzrr Khryss Alejandro's Point of View]

I can’t contain my happiness! I just got promoted, well, giving credits for my school because they trusted me to prepare the perfume for the Exhibit 2018. Thank God for giving me this kind of talent. But having lunch with the CEO isn’t that great because he kept on talking nonsense, I knew this kind of style, I know he likes Keliche.

“Where do you want to eat?” Mr. Frank asked while looking at us, we are already walking towards the parking lot. Well, he’s going to drive us there, I entered the passenger seat while Keliche made her way towards the back seat. I saw the frown made by Mr. Frank so I slightly smiled, well, Keliche just busied herself with her phone.

“She loves shrimps, so I guess we should go in a sea food restaurant.” I told him, answering the question he asked a while ago so he just nodded and smiled at me while glancing at Keliche at the back.

He started driving, he even used google map to find the nearest sea food restaurant. He turned on the radio and when I heard the song played on the radio, I almost burst out laughing.

I looked at Keliche at the back who looked like a ripe tomato upon hearing the song. She glared at me when she saw me grinning at her. Well, the destiny wants to play with us and I’m having fun seeing Keliche looked like that.

I heard Mr. Frank cleared his throat so we both looked at him, “Uh, we’re already here.” He announced so we both nodded before preparing to get outside. He turned the engine off so I immediately get out to open the door for Keliche even though I knew that she doesn’t like it.

“Just go with the flow, Ice.” I told her but she just shrugged before walking outside the car, Mr. Frank started walking towards the entrance of the restaurant so we followed him since this is his treat.

Lizzey and I loves the food here since we both love sea foods, she loves grilling and eating squid while I love king crabs with cheese inside it. That’s yummy! As we enter the restaurant, the cool air brushed into my skin since this restaurant has a full air condition, it feels like Alaska or Baguio City, maybe?

We just followed Mr. Frank until he saw a spot near the grilling station, the station where the cooks grill everything you wanted them to grill. It’s like you’re just going to make them do what you wanted to do with the live sea creature you bought.

“There’s a lot of sea creature that can be seen in the aquariums, does it mean that we’ll going to choose what we want?” Mr. Frank asked us absentmindedly. I didn’t know that he’s a pure i***t, he doesn’t have any common sense with him, maybe the cool air took his common sense away.

“Yes, then after we choose they will ask us what we wanted to do with the sea creatures we got like if we wanted to grill them or whatever. It will depend on us.” I answered him so he nodded before standing up, maybe he’ll be the one who will choose our food since it’s his treat.

“Keliche, would you mind if I take you with me and we’ll pick our food together?” Mr. Frank asked her, well, I didn’t mind since she’s Keliche and she’s not affected with that kind of move.

She nodded, “Fine, sir.” She answered before standing up, she looked at me and I just smiled at her to make her see that it’s nothing on me. But dude, I want to rip our CEO’s head off!

They left me in our table so I had my peace of mind, at least that guy promoted my position, do what he wants to do, Keliche’s mine anyway. I can feel it and I knew it, she’s mine.

“Hi, do you mind if I sit here?”

I looked at the girl who is now asking me, well, she’s pretty even though she looked like she’s in her early 40s, she still look good, well, I don’t know about her eyes since she’s wearing shades.

“Sorry, ma’am but I have my boss and my other officemate with me.” I answered, she just smiled before calling someone, she’s a girl with a surgical mask on so I didn’t see her physical features as well.

“Zhanelle, there is no seats available yet. Let’s just go home since we have cooks in our house.” The woman told the little girl, she looked at me intently. She has the same eyes with a person I know, I just don’t know who is that person.

“But mom, I saw big sister a while ago!” The girl whined which made the woman stiffened before holding the little girl’s hand and they started walking out of the restaurant. Well, I felt sorry for the young girl.

I just surf the internet since this restaurant has their free wifi connection so I started browsing my facetagram account. Well, my followers are getting bigger and bigger. I was about to exit the app, not until I saw a suggested profile on the list, what the heck? Is this Keliche’s facetagram profile? I didn’t know so I clicked it.

“Wow…” I whispered to myself upon seeing her account, I also read a few comments, well, she has thousands of followers and likes too. That girl kept on surprising me with her life.

Celebrating the Christmas eve in the happiest place on earth!

She looked really cute with her fierce look, since she’s not smiling while she’s in front of the Disney castle, she even wore a Minnie mouse headband. So, she’s in Disneyland last Christmas, huh?

I scrolled at her posts again, yes, like a damn stalker. I’m too handsome to be her stalker but nevermind. I like her and that’s it.

“Wow, she’s really a Goddess of knowledge, huh?” I whispered to myself upon seeing her graduation pictures posted in her account.

Hello, the so called ‘Goddess of Knowledge’ is now signing off from Liberty University.

She looked so serious in all of her pictures but the pictures of her achievements made my jaw dropped. She has so many awards via medals and certificates, she even had a trophy and what made me really amaze is that she graduated as the ‘Magna c*m Laude’ of the said university. I’m impressed.

“Done checking my account?”

I almost drop my phone when I heard Keliche’s voice beside me. I gasped in horror when I saw her eyes laid on my phone where her picture’s visible.

“You don’t have to be so shy to admit the you’re stalking me. It’s actually fine with me though it’s a little creepy.” She told me before she sat in a seat in front of me, I just rolled my eyes at her since she’s making fun of me.

“I’m not stalking you, dream on.” I told her but she just shrugged and looked at her phone too. Well, I didn’t even think that she has social media accounts because of her coldness.

“Where is Mr. Frank?” I asked her when I saw that she’s alone. Well, maybe the shark has eaten him, and I’m somewhat happy for him being eaten by a shark.

“Uh, he’s talking to someone and he said that he’s going to the rest room.” She answered before she started busying herself in her phone. So, since she looked so busy, I started stalking her again but I decreased my phone’s brightness to prevent another incident like what happened a while ago.

Minutes later, our food arrive but there still no sign of Mr. Frank so we decided to wait for him since it’s his treat. It’s disrespectful to eat something without the consent of the one who gave the food.

“Sorry, I have a long talk with a client. Let’s eat, shall we?” He said before digging into his food so we started to eat in peace and silence since no one dared to start a conversation. I saw Keliche’s quiet while eating her beloved shrimps while dipping it in mozzarella cheese.

“So, you’re working on monday as perfumers under my company, savor your last lunch where you can feel freedom to eat whatever and whenever you like because once you become a perfumer, your lunch break will only last for fifteen minutes or faster than that. Well, you’ll be having a long weekend since it’s hard for the both of you to adjust.” Mr. Frank said before he continues eating his food in delight.
