Chapter Eighteen

[Khyzrr Khryss Alejandro's Point of View]

I was so happy when I saw the mami on the menu because it’s been a long time since I last ate mami. I love this food since Mom loves to cook it for Lizzey and I.

“You keep on laughing.” Keliche commented while I’m walking towards our table, I smiled before sitting at the chair in front of her, well, the table’s between us. I stared at her for a while before saying, “You’re really gorgeous.” She just rolled her eyes before kicking my feet under the table.

“Don’t you dare kick my precious feet.” I warned her but she just glared at me before looking at her phone, maybe she’s scrolling her feed on facetagram again, she loves doing that. But to be sure,

“Hey, what are you doing?” I asked her, she made me see her phone screen and I saw that she’s reading something, some sort of novel. Well, maybe that makes her so intelligent.

“Are you reading a romance novel?” I asked her, she moved her face sideways that means she’s not reading it.

“I’m into action and vampire novels.” She answered before she started reading again, I haven’t asked Lizzey about her plan with Green. I just want my sister to be happy, I don’t want her to get hurt physically and emotionally. I treasure her like a princess because my mom’s my queen. I don’t want them to get hurt in any way, they’ll pass through me first before they hurt them.

“Do you think? Does vampires and aliens exist?” I asked her while were still waiting for our order, she nodded. “I do believe that everything’s possible.” She answered so I smiled at her.

“So, it’s possible to see that beautiful smile of yours?” I asked her, she didn’t respond and the waiter’s already putting our orders on the table when suddenly, my phone vibrated so I checked it and the message came from an unknown number.

[I’ll kill you but let me shot your sister first.]

My eyes widen when I saw the text, I’m trembling, my body can’t move! I looked at Keliche who’s looking blankly at me.

“What’s the matter?” She asked while looking at me, I made her look at the text that the unknown number sent me, she immediately took my phone from me and called someone.

No, not my sister.

“Hey, Lizzey. I’m your brother’s friend, can I ask you if you’re fine right now?” I heard Keliche talking to my sister in her most calm voice, she’s too plain when she’s talking to people. When I mean is, she’s literally plain, from her face through her voice it’s all plain but I still want her.

Seconds had passed and Keliche hand me back my phone before tapping my shoulders,

“Hey, she’s okay. You don’t need to worry.” She said before sitting in front of me and digging into her food, I smiled. She saw me at that state, I’m so embarrassed.

“I’m sorry, it’s just that my brain didn’t function well a while ago.” I said before scratching the back of my head because of the shyness and embarrassment I’m feeling.

“In times like that, you need to be strong and you need to know how to defend yourself and your family.” She answered like she’s a psychology major or something, she’s opening her dramatic side to me and it’s a bit weird since I’m always seeing a strong characteristic on her, that she’s always thinking about herself.

“I didn’t know that you can talk to me like a guru or something.” I told her while digging into my food since the mami’s looks so welcoming and it fits exactly on my stomach.

“People have that power when you’re selfless, when you’re always thinking about the sake of other people around you, if you’re thinking about the one you love.” She answered again so I just stayed quiet until we finished the food, until we’re already full.

When I already paid for what we’ve eaten, we already made our way outside the eatery.

“Where are we going to do next?” She asked me while we’re already walking on our way back to the hotel.

I really want to try the rides in the amusement park here in Tagaytay, and I want to go there with her. I want to ride the giant wheel with the most gorgeous woman in the world, next to my mom and sister.

“I want to go to the amusement park, are you in?” I asked her while I’m walking behind her, she’s walking really fast.

“Fine, we’ll go but please, let’s walk fast! I really want to take a bath already!” She whined while she’s almost half running, then suddenly, I remembered what happened last night so I ran towards her and grabbed her arm, in that way I caught her attention and she looked at me, she looks so confused.

“Don’t use the Jacuzzi, don’t take a bath long or else --.” She didn’t let me finish, she just nodded before she started running away from me, that girl’s really weird! I’m still talking to her and she just nodded and ran away from me! Well, she’s like that most of the time.

While I was walking for some minutes, I’m almost at the hotel already, my phone vibrated again so I looked at it and my hands are trembling while reading the message.

[Ugh, I don’t want you sister, what if I’ll kill your girlfriend instead?”]

With that, I immediately ran towards the hotel and barged into her room which is a very wrong move so I immediately ran outside with my hands covering my eyes.

“You’re so stupid, Khyzrr!” I shouted to myself before walking towards my room. f**k! I should’ve knock on the door! Why does she have to be in undies when she’s roaming inside of the room? She shouldn’t do that! What if it isn’t me and what if it’s some kind of maniac and do something bad to her? With that gorgeous face and hot body? They can r**e her in an instant!

“f**k, that gave me a mini-heart attack.” I whispered to myself before walking towards the bathroom to take a bath, to unwind my mind since it’s clouded with lustful and dirty thoughts.

After I took a bath, I immediately took some comfortable clothing, a simple shirt and a cargo short, I also put my sandals on before going out of my room and walked towards Keliche’s room.

I’m still hesitating to knock on the door when suddenly, I heard someone behind me so I immediately looked back.

“What are you doing outside my room when you have the key?” She asked while rolling her eyes. I looked at her with disbelief, did she already forgot what happened a while ago or she’s just acting like nothing happened?

“B-but I saw you a-almost n-naked a while ago! I answered while she looked at me with a glare before walking towards the elevator. With my shocked face, I started walking towards the elevator too since she looks like she doesn’t want to take me with her, this brat!

“Hey, wait up!” I called her but she just shrugged before going inside of the elevator, luckily the elevator girl waited for me so I immediately get inside.

While we’re inside the elevator, everyone’s looking at us again. What the f**k? Why do we always looked like we’re some sort of artist, they’re looking at us while their jaw-dropped.

“They kept on looking at you, stop being so gorgeous.” I whispered to her but she just shrugged before she continued typing something on her phone, well, she looked so busy so I didn’t bother her anymore until we reach the ground floor.

“Is the amusement park far from here?” She asked me while we’re on our way to my car. She started the conversation and it’s very rare so I need to treasure it so much, I smiled.

“No, just a few kilometers away from here, it’s going to be fun there.” I told her, she just nodded before she waited me to unlock the car.
