Chapter Sixteen

[Khyzrr Khryss Alejandro's Point of View]

I’m so scared a while ago! I thought she committed suicide already! I even cried while asking what’s happening to her. She’s going to give me a heart attack. I just composed myself before I go back in her room again, I’m so embarrassed when she’s asking me questions, I can’t lie or something, I really feel guilty afterwards so it’s better to just walked out. No words and lies slipped.

“Don’t sleep with an empty stomach.” I scolded her while I saw her lying on the bed already, she rolled her eyes before looking at me.

“What? I thought you’re not going to buy me a dinner.” She answered before standing up, she’s holding her phone so I guess she’s ready to go like that.

“Let’s go downstairs.” I announced so she followed me. She just locked the door before we started walking towards the elevator. I wanted to laugh while remembering what happened a while ago.

“I want to take the stairs.” She said so I immediately looked at her, she’s not serious right? But she’s not the girl who’ll blabber nonsense so I took her hand before she started walking towards the stairs. We’re in 17th floor for whoever’s sake. When she reaches the ground floor, she’s already dead tired for sure.

“Why do you keep on holding my hand?” She asked while tugging her hand away but it’s no use since I’m stronger than her, she’s small too but not that small. I mean, I’m just really taller since I’m a guy but her height can make her join pageants like Ms. Universe.

“I just like holding your hand because it’s so soft. You’re not doing household chores?” I asked after answering her question.

“I’m doing household chores.” She answered before going inside the elevator, maybe she’s afraid to make me angry since I have the money and she doesn’t know how to go home. I’m the boss of her right now, I guess I have to make the best of it since when we’re already in the company again, we’ll be back to normal. And when I say normal, she doesn’t know how to listen to me anymore, she’ll be the boss again.

“What floor, sir?” The elevator girl asked while loading passengers. I smiled before answering, “Ground floor.” After that, she smiled while nodding so I just looked at Keliche again since her other hand’s busy with her cellphone. She’s checking her facetagram account.

“You already accepted my follower request.” She said while scrolling down her newsfeed.

“Yeah, who am I to decline a request from a Goddess.” I answered, she just shrugged while she continues what she’s doing. I’m really shocked that she has a social life, she looks like an introvert at first, I’m also surprised when Alana told me that she’s her friend when Alana and I first talked.

I entered Café Latte, it’s been my fifth time coming here because I really love their frappes. While I’m sitting in my usual spot inside the coffee shop and I’m always looking at a beautiful girl while she’s reading a book.

“She’s pretty, right?

I looked at the girl who’s working at the coffee shop, she’s smiling at me. She’s the one sitting in the counter a while ago, I guess that their rotation changed already.

“Yeah, she is. I always see her here but she’s not smiling.” I answered before sipping my frappe, I just can’t take my eyes off her. She’s really beautiful, she really looks like the so called, ‘Goddess of Knowledge’. The one who always beat my ass off during competitions.

“She’s really like that, it has something to do with her past but she’s great and happy to be with.” She said before sitting in front of me. So I got confused, “Why? Do you know her?” I asked her, she smiled before nodding.

“She’s my best friend, we live in the same apartment.” She answered, I guess I should be friend with this girl too. Though she really looks like a westernized girl for me, she’s wearing a super short skirt but she seems nice.

Up until now, Alana’s helping me while I’m courting her, Keliche may think that I’m just doing this for fun but I’m not. I really want to be with her, to court her and make her mine because I really need a girl before the fifty days’ end, my father will do anything, he loves forcing and controlling my life but he’s still my father, I just want to make him see that I can decide on my own, that I can find an extraordinary girl, a perfect girl for me, a girl like Keliche.

“Ground floor.” The elevator girl announced so we both wait our turn to go out of the elevator. Luckily, there is a restaurant inside the hotel so we aren’t going to travel far and we’re just going to walk towards the garden to get a table.

“Where are we going?”

“Hmm. Well, we’re heading outside in the garden to eat. Their restaurant’s so famous for their bulalo, you want one?” I asked her, but she didn’t answer, she just stayed silent. Maybe she doesn’t like it or she’s just wandering and she didn’t hear what I just said.

When we reach the garden, a waiter guided us in an empty two seater table and gave us the menu. Keliche didn’t look well, she’s staring at a blank space so I snapped my fingers in front of her. She’s taken aback and said an order, which I find so weird.

“A bulalo with cheese on the side, please and a cucumber juice.” She said, I laughed at her and it’s already late when she realized that she said something weird. I can’t stop laughing while looking at her, her face’s already red as a tomato.

“Is that even possible?” I asked her, she just nodded so I called the waiter.

“Uhm, two orders of bulalo, one is with, uhm, cheese on the side. Also, a pitcher of cucumber juice.” I said, I’m trying hard to hold my laughter. I’m really trying but my laughter just burst out and suddenly, I just saw Keliche glaring at me while kicking my feet below the table. The table cloths covering the crime she’s making below the table!

“Sir, you want the cheese, ordinary, mozzarella or melted?” The waiter asked so I looked at him, is he being serious right now? Is that even possible?

“I-it’s possible?” I stuttered while asking, the waiter nodded before smiling so I looked at Keliche, I didn’t know about that. Oh f**k, is this even real?

“Mozarella, please. Thank you.” She answered the waiter’s question a while ago, she didn’t smile but at least she tried her best to be polite.

“Is that given in the menu?” I asked her, she turn her face sideways.

“Then why did they get your order?” I asked, she just shrugged. Tsk! This weird girl.

Suddenly, my phone vibrated. When I looked at it, it’s a message from Lizzey, I smiled. She’s really up for it. I really can’t believe this, well, Mom and Dad can’t make her force to take marriage since it’s her choice and she has one already.

[Can we meet tomorrow already?]

She’s not that kind of excited when she’s going into a date or something, Green must have something she really likes. Maybe the looks or is it because he’s such an ideal man?

[Just message him.]

After a few seconds, she replied again. Oh, this is so interesting.

[I’m shy, do it for me.]

I chuckled when I saw her reply, this is so unusual! What happened to the wild girl I know? Does she like Green already? Such a lucky ass. HAH!

[It’s your love life, little sis. Just go for it, he likes you.]

After a few minutes, she still didn’t reply so I just put my phone inside my pocket again. Let her do what she wants to do, as long as she’s on the right path and he’s with a nice guy.

“Let’s eat?” Keliche announced so we ate in silence, and after we finished eating, we just made a decision that we’ll wake up for a jog. She refused at first, but I said that she’ll not be having a breakfast if she won’t wake up early, with that, she immediately ran towards her room and slept.
