Chapter ONE

~Monalisa's pov~

Today is my graduation, and i assumed to be the happiest in college as I giggled at the fact that I would be mated to the love of my life, Bryan, the Alpha's son of the Lonecrest pack in the coming week.

Walking down the lobby, I held my graduation cap in one hand, and my other hand other hand is being held warmly by my step-sister, Victoria.

"I am happy for you, Lisa," Victoria cooed heartly as her facial expression brightened. "This is your chance now. I am sure father would be proud."

I heftly sighed at her words. Alpha Charles had adopted me as his only child, and raised me happily before his Luna bore Victoria, and then her brother, Devos. But everything instantly changed the moment they found out that my mate was the Alpha's son of the Lonecrest pack.

in order to be mated with him, I had to leave the pack that that raised me to stick with my mate whom I had adored and loved ever since I was a little kid.

"Are you sure…?" I asked, sliding my side hair uncomfortably to the back of my ear, my mood changing into a sad one.

"Yes. Sure. don't worry, Lisa. I will talk to him. He will listen to me." Victoria assured me.

"Anyway where is Kate?" Victoria asked. "I haven't seen her for a while now."

I rubbed her head before I could remember,"Oh, she had left already. But she had asked me to come to the after-graduation party"

Victoria chuckled, rolling her eyes. "Then let's go straight away, I will take you there myself." She said as she tried to drag her happily into the car.

"I don't think I would come? I have things…" I looked up at her widening my eyes with excitement. "To attend to."

Victoria smiled, she knew that I was going back home to spend the night with my mate, Bryan.

"Make sure to get lots of fun time with him." She chuckled as she drove out of the car pack. I approched my own car, and slumped right into the drivers seat driving out.

as i drove along, thoughts kept running in my head - about how I was going to be mated with my mate, Bryan. His charming features, and strong physique made me bite my lips lusting for him. Because I had already graduated, I could feel that we will be mated earlier than expected. He has always loved me, and assured that he would mark me.

Thoughts also came about how it was rumored in the Lonecrest pack that I had a weak wolf. I sighed bitterly placing my arm at the edge of the door seat.

Reaching the pack house, I stepped out of the car, going straight to Bryan residence in the pack. His chambers was the biggest after his father's in the Lonecrest pack.

I walked towards his door that seemed open, reaching it, I looked around, and I found out that none of the warriors were on duty that day. It was weird for that to happen.

Pushing the door open, I entered the sitting room. My gaze immediately caught a diamond necklace with the word "happy graduation, mate" inscribed on the box it had come with.

My heart throbbed, and i sat admiring it. i was in all smiles. I was sure that he was going to use it to surprise me.

I would not want to disappoint my mate by knowing this too early. I stood up to leave when another thing caught my eye, sending cold chills through me.

It was a woman's pair of stilettos, and by the side was from what I could seemed to know, clothes littered across the sitting room leading to my mate's room.

The more I took steps closer to Bryan's room, the more I realised what was about to happen. But I refused to believe it trying to think that it would be his beta that might have taken a woman in, as he would always on certain occasions.

But my scent proved my wrong, immediately I reached the door, another wolf's scent caught me.

I could not even realise when I immediately pulled the door open. Seeing them, I became shocked, my eyes turned wet within seconds, and my hand came out closing my mouth that had been wide open, my heart stuttering while I breathed heavily, and painfully. almost as if I had almost fainted.

I froze as the sounds of moans coming from Bryan, and my best friend, Katherine became so intimate.

She was bent over naked, while Bryan thrusted into her from the back. At this moment that I had stood in front of them, it became more intense as he thrusted faster into her and her moaning increased desiring him more as she held more unto him.

Kate unlike me, had a strong wolf and was known as the most beautiful wolf in college, she was also stylish, and also a model. I was the complete opposite of her: weak, and just a normal medical student enrolled in the Pack's clinic.

The only thing that made me special was just the fact that I had been adopted by Alpha Charles, and Kate was the daughter of Beta Benji, the beta to Bryan's father. Still, that couldn't change the fact that I had been hated by Alpha Charles just for being the mate to Bryan.

I stepped back, and my back mistakingly hits the door creating a distraction.

Kate with her mouth widened from her moans looked up. Seeing me immediately, she immediately tried to let go but it was late already. Bryan was stronger as he held her groaning over her signaling to me that he might had put IT in her.

I gasped painfully for breath as Kate quickly covered her body with a blacket, while Bryan put on his trousers back as he stays shirtless.

His eyes filled with lust went from Kate to me trying to avoid my shocking stare. He already knew how hurt I was. Walking up to me, he kissed me on the neck, and I willing submitted to him, but as my stare caught Kate, I went out from his embrace, he stood shockingly glaring at me as if nothing had just happened.

"Bryan… " I said, my heart breaking, and voice barley below a whisper. "Why?"

"Because I am the Alpha's son, and the future of this pack rests on me!" He retorted.

"But, I am your mate…" I said, my voice cracking up instantly.

He turned to me, frowning all this time while Kate stayed hidden in one corner immersed in guilt. "yes, I know. and you belong only to me. But not as my Luna."

Disoriented, I looked up at him trying to understand what he had meant. "Bryan…"

I couldn't finish before he cut me. "I want Kate as my future Luna, but you can serve me as my mistress."

My heart skipped a bit as I watched him say those words.

My hand vibrated with fear, looking up at him with shock, I have already been abused as young wolf growing up. I would not want to pass through that again in pretence.

"Bryan, please come to me, I wouldn't want to lose you as my mate." I pleaded with him. Reaching my hands to him. Tears dropping freely from my eyes.

He let out a low growl making me shiver taking some steps back.

"You are weak but still shameful at the same time!" He let out frowning. "I am so sick of you. You are not fit to even be my mate!"

I stared at his lovely bright brown eyes as he stood right in front of me saying the words that I had wished I would never hear. "I, Bryan, the future Alpha of Lonecrest pack, reject you as my mate." He said, exhaling heavily while my hands clenched to my chest trying my best to agree to it.

I couldn't handle the rejection as multiple sobs climbs up my throat.

I would not have want to let them see me cry but it was too late, tears were already pouring out heavily from my eyes.

Moving my face away from him, I made way to the door, running out to cry my heart out but he went after me, holding me back by the waist.

All of a sudden, we stopped, sensing the two figures staring at us. slowly, he pulled his hand away from me, sticking to Kate that is already all dressed up. The care that showed on his face just minute ago was clouded by scornful smirk.
