~Lisa's POV~
Alpha Charles and Alpha Roger approched us speechless.
I sensed that they had already knew what had happened as Charles wore a dreaded look while Roger face was covered in worry.
Few minutes later, they were seated all facing me, Bryan leans on The wall crossing his legs. While Kate rested her head on his chest. I hatefully glared at her but it was of no use. Her first impression was not there anymore. at the moment, she was bold enough this time knowing that I was already caught in the web of the unknown.
"Father," I said as I have always called Alpha charles ever snice I was adopted. "I was about to with Victoria to the -"
I couldn't finish before he could stop me. "You are already rejected by your mate!" His voice was sharp cutting right through me as I also noticed Alpha Roger whispering some words to his beta, Benji who smiled as he looked up at his daughter - Kate as she romanced with Bryan by the side.
My gaze flickered as I glanced at my Bryan - who was supposed to be my mate, and protect me clinging possessively to Kate whom we had shared most of our life secrets with.
"I am sure you would not want to know what that means." Alpha Charles added. "You have been a disgrace ever snice. "
"I am sure it is not her fault, Alpha Charles, " Kate cut in. My heart stutters as I heard the wolf disguised in a sheep clothing say.
"It is so unfortunate that she had been mated to royalty. She should be counting herself lucky for being relieved of it." She smiled as she says, facing Bryan who smile in response rounding his hand over her while jealousy burns inside of me.
I clenched my fists angrily, while my eyes flickered at the hurtful words being targeted at me, but it was nothing compared to pain of betrayal in my heart.
"Are you not going to say something?" I asked Bryan, as I freed my hands, feeling so defensless.
He scoffs. "I have told you already? But I won't still let you go." Kate sighs hearing him while she grinds her teeth. "I can still have more than one lover, and my mother still needs you though".
Although Bryan's mother didn't really fancy me, she like the idea that I would be a good Luna to her son, and I will be sure how sad that she will get when she knows that It was not going to work out in any way.
As he reaches me, I stared at him, and this time, memories of the time spent together afloat in my thoughts. And right there in front of everyone, I grabbed him, collapsing into his embrace as if I had accepted to be his mistress. He accepted my touch, and clinged to me.
"Stop this, Bryan!" Alpha Roger calls out. Immediately, I got back to my senses as I let go of him clipping my hands together while obeying the words of the Alpha.
"I have already made up my mind." Roger says while we all turned to him. His face pale with stress.
"Lisa, I, Alpha Roger banish you from the Lonecrest pack!"
Shockwaves moved through the room as Bryan looked up in awe, and if that was not enough, Alpha Charles faced me saying, "I, Alpha Charles, banish you from the Fantompelt pack."
I felt the world crashing down on my shoulders. My leg was weak while I shook rigorously Inside. I was definitely knew that I was inside an illusion of fear.
"In that case, father, I would claim her as my slave," Bryan said, while I faced my face to the floor losing all hope even in my mate.
"No! don't do that Bryan…" Kate persuades him as he let out an angry growl signaling her to keep her distance.
"You don't have a choice, son, don't tell me you are going to go so low again." Roger says coldy as he glared at him. Bryans face hardens. "She would be of great use!" He added.
"Yes!" Charles retorted as I face him, tear swelling up again in my eyes. "Tricking the feared grandson of Alpha Walter for his lands in exchange for a slave with a contract as a bride was so easy than I thought" he chuckled.
"What! You made a deal with Greg?" Bryan said out to the two Alphas while they gawk at him as if they had been deaf to his complaints.
My eyes widened with fear at the name of the Ruthless and Feared Lycan king Gregory. My hearts stuttered, skipping as I fall to the ground.
Bryan rushed quickly while he held me before I had fallen to the ground
From no where, beta Benji walks up through the door as he brings up a document. Keeping it right in front of Alpha Roger.
"Lisa, sign the document!" Alpha Roger ordered.
"Please, don't do this," worry clouded Bryan face while Kate looks on with impatience grinning to the fact that I was already hurt to the core.
I stood up from his arms standing in-between him, and the contract.
What I would decide now would be my fate. I was made to choose between my worst nightmare, and to live with a broken heart. The latter was my greater fear - the fear of living while still dead inside.
"Why? There is no need to keep a mate you don't love..." I faced Bryan.
"That _was a mistake," he stutters. "You would not like him. He is a monster."
I lifted my chin, shocked that he knew the feeling of being a monster.
With a heavy heart, it was if something pushed me to do it...I took out the pen, my hands shivers as I signs the contract.
Deep down inside of me, I was so afraid that I prayed to moon goddess to intervene, and change my fate.
"Take her immediately to her chambers," Beta Benji ordered the two warriors standing off the door. They come immediately, standing behind me while I move shakenly at what I had just done.
Bryan frowns angrily, "I would still have you to myself!" He blurted as he breathes heavily staring angrily at the faces in the room.
