Near the end of the movie, I noticed Marie staring longingly at Kate. She looked honestly gorgeous, so I knew that Marie must be really fighting her hormones right about now. I make an excuse about calling to check on Nate, then leave Marie alone, hoping that will convince Kate to go talk to her.
I walk inside and figure I might as well use the excuse I gave Marie, since I didn’t know what else to do in here. I find Daniel’s name in my contacts and push call.
Daniel’s voicemail answers instead. “You have reached Alpha Armstrong. I am not available right now so leave a message with your name and query.” Weirdo.
I hang up and decide to call Josh instead. He picks up on the second ring.
“My treasure! I wasn’t expecting to hear from you tonight, how’s the party?” He chirps
