Pretty soon it was moving day. Kate and Marie were officially moving into Beta housing, which made our future positions feel even more tangible. I was moving into one of the other visiting Alpha suites because Daniel wasn’t ready to leave Alpha housing just yet. He said that he needed to make sure he was in the packhouse in case anything happened, especially because his betas moved into their retirement home already.
My parents dropped me off at the packhouse early in the morning and helped me move in the items I had decided to bring with me. I only brought a few decorations, my clothes, and toiletries because I knew my current housing arrangement was temporary.
