I opened my eyes as Nate removed the blindfold and couldn’t help but gasp at what I saw. Nate had hung small pink and purple lanterns in the trees in a small clearing that made it look as if it was lit by fairies. On the ground, he had laid comfy looking blankets and a bucket with champagne. I was amazed. He had managed to prepare two beautiful surprises in one night!
I walked around the clearing, noting that the lanterns were colored by slightly differently colored paper that covered the outside. I smirked: someone had been watching DIY videos. I looked at Nate, and he stood in the middle of the clearing looking nervous.
