FRIDA ~•~ It was the ticking sound of the antique clock in the waiting room of my house that welcomed me into the eerie and unwelcoming silence. I could not hear a sound from my parents. But that could be because they were in their room, and every room in the house was sound proofed to the f*****g jaw. I took slow and uncertain steps up the stairs. Our butler had stepped out of the kitchen to say something to me, but I could not figure out the words that were being said, not when my heart was beating so quickly and so loudly in my chest.
