This is a disgrace, Stella Adams thought. She found it very humiliating that she had let this mortal man beat her around like this. She looked down at the floor and coughed helplessly, while his footsteps on the marble floor echoed in her head. Her eyes were starting to spin, she was beginning to feel dizzy. It wasn't the blood on her body that irritated her, it was the fact that she had become so weak, she had feigned weakness to the point that it was now her default character.
