Chapter 10
The rest of the ceremony passed in a blur. After his Presentation, Sommar swam to sit by the other Alewars to enjoy the rest of the ceremony. Some of the other Alewars around him were already showing public displays of affection. While Sommar socialized, Sartin concentrated on the music he was supposed to be playing.
Once Sartin’s eyes locked on Sommar, he understood the nature of the song he heard in his head. It was their love song that came from their hearts and souls, blended into something unique. Only the two of them heard the song.
While the ceremony continued, Sartin stole glances at Sommar. Most of the time, all Sartin saw were his animated expressions as Sommar talked with his Alewar peers. Every once in a while, their gazes met and Sartin couldn’t help but smile. S
