They made their way through the lagoon and out to the open water until they found Couples Bay.
“We get the whole beach to ourselves,” Sommar said when they found a spot on the edge of the sand. The surf gently engulfed them, and then retreated back into the ocean.
Sartin grinned. Normally, new couples fought and schemed to get the best spots to consummate their relationships on the night of the Coupling ceremony.
The Princess fell beneath the water, covering the land in darkness. Not at his full strength, Samsel’s glow highlighted every ripple and ridge of Sommar’s body. Sartin leaned in and kissed Sommar. Sartin’s tongue invaded his mate’s mouth, searching for his tongue.
Sartin backed away from Sommar and grinned. “That never gets old.”
“I’m positive it never will.”
