The Story of the First Princess, or How the Sea People Came to Be
A long time ago, there were only people who lived on the land and they lived in the trees. One day a small group came down to the water’s edge and discovered the abundance of food that grew in the ocean.
Before coming down out of the trees, the land people walked on all four limbs. They found that the water helped support their weight and the humans developed the strength to stand on two legs. Once they were done in the water, the land people figured out they could outrun some of their predators faster on their two hind legs rather than all four.
