She fell back, and fell asleep. She might have slept for seconds, minutes, or even hours. While she did she had vivid dreams. At one point she stood on a pinnacle, surrounded by enormous crowds stretching to the horizon. She wore various fabulous costumes continually morphing into one another, yet simultaneously she was naked, and the crowds were applauding her ecstatically. The intense ovation was sweeping through her, clinging tightly to her body, enveloping her, caressing her insistently in her most intimate places. She surrendered her body and her mind to the total sensuality of the situation, stretched her head up towards the stars, and more ecstasy descended onto her, overwhelming her entirely.
Then she was awake again. Lorien was standing there, with more cocktails in his hands.
