Chapter Four Isabel As Isabel When she got home, everything looked weird. The face in the mirror wasn’t hers, but it went far beyond that. It was as if this was the first time she’d been here, and she hardly knew the layout or the whereabouts of things. She’d been away in a different world, a fantastic world immersed in sensuality, the colours intense, the experiences of her body overwhelming, as different to here as the north pole was to the equator. Would that world return to her, or was this reality? She stood before the bedroom mirror, took out a notepad, and removed her disguise.
