XENIA It was today, and it still felt unreal. Hades had asked me on a dinner date, the first one I’d ever be attending with anyone asides my mom, and it hadn’t felt real the entire week so I made no plans to pick a dress neither did I tell my mom because she would’ve made a big deal out of it. Luckily, she was out of town for a work conference so she wasn’t home to badger me with unnecessary questions and teasing remarks. Instead, Claudia had come over earlier today and we’d spent hours taking my wardrobe for a dress that didn’t look like it was from the Stone Age. Apparently, I had a tone of picnicky dresses and no dinner worthy dresses. When we made no progress, I asked my mom if I could dig in her closet and she teased me for about ten minutes before finally giving me a go-ahead.
