XENIA Matteo’s car roof was open and my hair was in the wind the entire ride. Normally, I’d have bugged whoever was at the wheel about our destination if I didn’t know it, but I didn’t see the need to do so with Matteo. It didn’t matter where he took us, I knew I’d be perfectly happy as long as we were together. Something about his presence brought me peace and contentment.
