Chapter 3

1024 Words
Amari's POV: After my shift at work, I went to Starbucks to go get my best friend. "Hey, you!" "Hey." "You done with your shift?" "Yeah just give me 5 minutes, let me get my stuff." "Oh ok, I'll be waiting for you outside. " I walked out and tried ordering a Bolt since I was quite lazy to walk after todays incident. Dmitri's POV: ''Can somebody tell me where on earth my secretary is?'' I screamed at the top of my lungs. People in the office just purposely try to get me angry. I couldn't forget that girl that I had an encounter with, so I called the 2nd floor department secretary to tell the department on the second floor to look into her file for me. "Tell the 2nd floor department to look into the cameras and get information with the girl I had an encounter with this morning, it is very urgent; no questions asked." 'Ok sir! should I come by to your office and drop it or should one of the 2nd floor department workers drop it off for you." she asked in both a seductive and chirpy voice. "What kind of silly question is that, I'm sorry? Never ever try such a thing like that unless you want to be fired." "No sir I ju-" Like I said the people I hire just try to piss me off purposely. Amari's POV: We got home few minutes ago, and we had dinner; we actually ate leftover rice and chicken with curry sauce from last night and then decided to watch a little bit of Netflix. "So how don't you even know the richest, youngest and sexiest bachelor in the world, if I may ask?" "We both know I'm not a social bird like you." "I know but, you watch news a lot and he's mainly there, so how come you've never seen him?" "I actually really don't know how I actually didn't know him, he looked real familiar but I was to caught up in everything that I didn't even try remembering where I had seen him before ." "Thanks for reminding me, I didn't watch news today." "Ughhh.. do you have to right know?" "Yes I do, for your information young lady.'' I put the TV on and changed it to the news channel. "OMG!!!" "What?!" 'You won't believe it." "What is it? You're scaring me" "You are on the news. " "What?! Wha- I'm- huh?" "You and Dimitri are on the news, you are tagged as the 'girl who spilled coffee on the hottest bachelor." "I- I- im-, I'm speechless. " "Oh my lord I, I don't know what to say except 'my bestie is famous!" "I-Im still in awe." "You're meant to be happy." "I don't think I should be." "Why is that?" "Because you were seen with the most handsome man on the earth and now your tagged as: the girl who spilled coffee now'." "I don't even know what to say." "Well, lets see what's going on; on the news then.'' We watched the news and I didn't really see any bad thing apart from 'lets hope she's not the new girl of the week' ; what's that supposed to mean? "Well that was it, they didn't really give any info on the real thing that happened.'' "Yeah, but I still need to find a way to reach him because I really don't want people to know me.'' "Yeah I can look for his work place for you, but that will probably be tomorrow because I am drained. " "Thank you so much babe and OMG same.'' I checked the time: 11:30pm and it was quite late, so we tidied everything up and then went to our separate rooms. I laid on my bed and just decided to have a run down of my day and it was so draining. I drifted to sleep after remembering Dimitri's little smirk. .......... Dimitri's POV: I got off from work later than usual, and by the time I was done, it was already 2am. The lights at each department were already turned off and I could just hear minimal cars pass by and crickets chirping; I put my lights off and headed for the elevator. As I got down to the last floor I saw my securities just checking in on everything again so I left. I hopped in my car and started driving; My driver dropped off one car at the office and dropped off the remaining ones at home. I had told him to just leave when I realized I was going to be at the office later than usual. As I was driving, I couldn't get that girl's face out of my mind; I know that her name is Amari and, to be honest, that's actually such a beautiful name. I soon found myself smiling so I had to snap myself out of it. I got home, opened the doors with the key card, dropped my car keys on the table, poured myself a glass of orange juice then headed upstairs. I took off my clothes and literally jumped on my bed, opened my phone and saw a lot of tweets as usual. Like, don't these people rest? As I was scrolling through the tweets, one of the tweets that I had seen caught my full attention 'The girl that spilled coffee on the hottest bachelor'. I opened the tweet and read all the comments, some people calling her different names, calling her cute, calling her a SLU*, very different things; and I had this sudden urge to kill someone. I just decided to drop my phone; I started thinking about how she must be feeling right know and how overwhelming this must be for her because she didn't look like a media person. I really have to snap myself out of this, I don't know what's going on with me; I laid down and slowly started drifting to sleep with the picture of her perfect lips, perfect shaped ass, perfect face and beautiful eyes in my mind.
