Once, there was this little average girl, living an average little life and having all the fun she could have at her young age but as the years went by her parents passed leaving her devastated and with not so many savings so she had to strive to get to where she was.
Amari Flores. Twenty one. Very much shy. She'd been like that ever since she was born, her parents had enrolled her into drama classes, singing classes, press and media, but nothing ever seemed to help her. She would learn to be the top of the class but never actually present in front of people except the teachers; people would always wonder why she'd get many awards but never see her in front of class presenting or anything like that, so she was hated on as a child.
One thing that I remembered my mom saying to me before she mom died was, ''You are perfect the way you are and you shouldn't let anyone tell you otherwise and you shouldn't think otherwise."
Amari's POV:
Todays been going good, at least from the way it's been going, nothing bad has happened.
I went to go wake my best friend Madeline, she came home late last night probably from her last night shift and since it's a new year I don't really know if she's not going to work this morning, so I had to wake her up.
Sadly she had to go to work this morning. While she was sluggishly making her way into the shower, I made my way downstairs to make little breakfast for the both of us; let's hope she doesn't sleep in that shower.
I made French toast and scrambled eggs then I decided to go check up on madeleine, surprisingly she didn't sleep of in the bathroom, she was actually about coming out of the room.
We made our way out and I locked the door; put the keys in my bag then we left.
Madeleine works at Starbucks and I work right beside her at Queens Library(A/N this was made up... I don't know if it's a real library or not)and since we were running late I wasn't able to make us any coffee so I just got from Starbucks.
Said my goodbyes and made my way to the library. I was walking and I turned back cause I felt very weird and then I mistakenly bumped into the wall or so I thought.
I looked up and I swear everything froze, he's the most beautiful man my eyes have ever laid on; he looked really familiar but I just couldn't pin point where I had seen him, I guess he figured out I was admiring him because the he met thing he said came as a shock.
"You know it's rude to stare."
"Er, sorry? I- I didn't- you see- I sorry what did you say?"
"I said it's rude to stare"
"Sorry, I apologize, my bad I was just trying to – erm never mind sorry."
I kept on rambling on about how I wasn't paying attention to where I was going, but I don't think he was paying any attention to me.
"You ruined my 30 thousand pound suit!"
"I- I'm sorry what?"
"I repeat, you ruined my 30 th-"
"No I heard you the first time, I'm just quite shocked as to why you said that."
He looked shocked but soon covered it up.
"Why?"
"Because you were the one who ran into me and you couldn't even help me up."
He looked quite surprised at my outburst
"And why exactly am I supposed to help someone like you?"
No he didn't, what's that supposed to mean; I was super pissed at this point. Just because I wasn't fancy doesn't mean he can say such things like that to a person with feelings.
"What exactly is that supposed to mean? Just because I don't dress like a superstar like you, wearing blinding clothes, it doesn't mean that I should be treated like trash, we are all perfect individually."
He just stood there unfazed by anything I was saying, like it wasn't entering that thick skull of his.
"Does it look like I care?" He asked irritated.
I didn't even realize the crowd forming until my best friend came and looked quite confused.
"What's going on here?"
"Your friend over here, decided to spill my coffee all over my E30, 000 suit."
"He wasn't watching where he was going, and then he hit me. I fell to the floor and bruised my ass from the impact and then, he's saying it's my fault."
She just watched us bickering back back and forth, she asked for an excuse and pulled me back to speak to me privately.
"Do you realize who this man is ?"
"What do you mean?"
"That man standing right there Yh? He's the richest, youngest and sexiest bachelor alive"
"Ok? How is that supposed to help what's going on right know?"
She looked frustrated with me at the moment but I just wasn't getting what she was on about.
"I'm saying that, that young man over there can ruin our lives at the snap of his fingers babe"
"What?"
"He can take everything that we've worked hard for to gain; he can take our houses, make it hard for us to find-"
I couldn't bear to hear anymore.
"Ok! Ok! I get it fine then what the hell what am I supposed to do about it then ?"
" I suggest that you simply apologize"
In no way am I going to apologize, he's the one at fault here
"He's the one at fault though"
"Let's just get over this please?"
"Fine then, only because We've worked really hard to get where we are and I wouldn't want some rich ass spoiled man to come take that away"
I sluggishly turned back facing downwards trying to put together what I'll say only for me to bump into something really hard and then I looked up to see like 3 full on bodyguards at his side an in front of him.
My heart started beating so fast.
"Hi, um for spilling your coffee over your really expensive suit, if there's anything I can do please reach out to me."
I took a pen out of my back pocket and wrote down my number on one of the bodyguards arm and boy I was a shaking mess he looked like he was about to pop me head off; why do they got to be looking like that though?
He looked unfazed by whatever was going on so I thought it was a good chance to say what was on my mind.
"Please don't ruin my life" He just smirked then left to wherever the hell he was going to or coming from ?
