CHAPTER 40 “Sorry,” Meg said, staring at the sparse bedroom. “I really had no idea what kind of toys a typical three-year-old would play with, and even if I did, I wasn’t sure what would be appropriate for Pip.” Kimmie tried not to let her annoyance show.
