The next school-day morning felt…normal, and kind of weird.
Like nothing happened on Saturday. Like I didn't…
I shook my head to dislodge any kind of abnormal thoughts that were about taking form in my head again.
The thing about pretending was that eventually, you'd start getting good at it.
I strolled into school, gripping my bag tighter with my left hand. Seth and Beau had left very early this morning because they had a 40 minute practice before the first period.
I wasn't really big into sports apart from the training I normally do. It was what made me stay fit (I mean, mentally (well, I'm not a hundred percent fit mentally) and physically). Not that I couldn't stay fit nonetheless.
I guess one thing I got from my parents are good
