Don't hurt the butterfly

Prologue

I was driving myself home when my friend called me. "Hey Melissa, we're planning to hang out this weekend with our friends of course hahaha. Are you in?" she asked. "Let me see if I don't have schedule that day. I'll inform you later when I'm already home" I answered while still focusing on the road. I drop the call after saying goodbye to her but it slipped in my hand. I reached my phone and bring my focus back to the road when I saw a girl approaching. I step on the break and go outside to see if the girl is fine. "Are you okay? O my god I'm so sorry. Is there anything you need? Are you hurt or something? I'll take you to the hospital" I said while panicking. 

'' Chill, I'm fine miss. Your car didn't even touch me" she said while laughing. I'm shocked and couldn't talk back. ''Are you sure you're okay?'' I asked again just to be sure. ''Yes I'm fine and sorry for the trouble.'' she assured. ''Where are you going? Do you need a ride? I can drop you by'' I offered 'cause it's freaking midnight. ''No, my house is just 5 minutes walk from here" she said so I wave a goodbye.

I showered immediately and check my schedule. I called Trina to inform her that I'm going with them. ''Trina, I'm free this weekend so count me in'' I said. ''I'm expecting that one. Btw, Josh is coming with us so see you'' she replied and end the call. 

He's coming with us? How am I supposed to have fun if he's around? Trina is expecting me to come so I can't back out  but I don't think I'm ready to see him again after how many years. I shook my head and close my eyes to sleep.
