As I left the apartment, I just couldn’t stop smiling. The beautiful carnations that had been delivered were absolutely stunning. My cheeks hurt from the amount of smiling I was doing, but I just couldn’t care. In fact, I smiled the whole way to school. People smiled back, and I couldn’t help but notice all the happy couples around me. It was a day to celebrate love, and although Jason and I weren’t at that point, it was still romantic.
